Looking for Officers!


Please. <3

We are currently looking for: SCRIBE OFFICERS! We are also on the lookout for more Diplomacy officers, but that is not the priority at the moment.

Our current administrative team is as follows. The duties of each department is also listed. Additionally, there is no longer a Roleplay Department, as it is expected that all officers help moderate roleplay while not busy in game, as well as help with running events as needed. We've also knocked our Commerce Department down to one senior officer and one member aide.

Please browse and see what department, out of the 3 departments, you may be interested in applying for. Officers are expected to be on the forums at least once every two days, and in game a few times a week, as well as regularly attending weekly meetings at Tuesday 9pm EST. We also need you to RP with us relatively regularly, so that way members know who you are. If you would like to become an officer but have issues with some of these times, please contact me.

Roster
Responsible for sending out welcomes, reading over and approving character sheets, promoting them to full member once their trial period is up, & cleaning up roster of inactives

Chronicle
Responsible for taking meeting notes, posting meeting notes once meeting is over, sending out newsletter, updating newsletter on forums, updating member of the week & poll of the week every week, editing the website calendar to include a sneak peak of what the next guild event will be every Monday & Friday, and helping me write guild stories & events.

Diplomacy
Responsible for doing zone run ads for the guild and recruiting new members, approving/disapproving guild applications, sending out invites to approved applicants, and inter-guild interactions

Commerce
Though Commerce is technically not a department anymore, you should know that we still do have a head of our bank to manage it and watch the logs. @somethingruther fills this position, with @Teeny_Kitty helping her go through said logs. Additionally, all officers maintain the bank and with their help of our members, do their best to keep it fully stocked.

Also, you can lower Roster from that "order of most needed." I've been able to handle everything myself lately, even with Raccoon moving and Nelly not being trained yet.

I would apply for diplomacy, but time to dedicate to the role could vary extremely depending on things that are happening IRL.

Updated order of departments need officers, I know Roster could use another one to share some of Raccoon's many ingame jobs.

Chronicle, specifically the news letter, is also suffering ATM. Despite having the most officers, due to classes/time conflicts/ and or other issues, we don't have an active pool of officers there.
