The first Entry of Readran's Journal

This is the account of Readran Telessar, dated 31st of Last Seed in 582 2E.

When I joined the Army the last thing I expected them to give me was a journal. But apparently it seems to be a pretty common practice. What they say its a good idea to get your thoughts out of your head.

I normally just talk and talk and talk until someone just punches me in the face. But maybe this will be a nice change of pace.

Today me and the boys made a blue milk run from Vulkhel Guard to Skywatch. It was good to see the city again, it has been a while.

Today was also my birthday so I decided to treat myself a little bit. I went to a bookstore and grabbed a copy of Veloth the Pilgrim by Cascius the Proud. Whatever these High Elves may think of the Dunmer, they are great writers.

At least I think a Dunmer wrote this. I could be completely wrong on that.

I hope to see Morrowind one day. After the war is over and people stop killing each other. It'd be nice to see the world.

Or at least what's left of it.

The second Entry of Readran's Journal

This is the account of Readran Telessar, dated 2nd of Hearthfire in 582 2E.

I saw my first Dark Anchor today just outside of Skywatch. Words cannot describe it, maybe expect three; Death, Damnation, and Doom. For those were the things that poured out of the sky last night. Those were the things that began killing everyone in their sight.

I had never seen Daedra before and I hope by the Gods I will never see it again.

Myself and a few other First Auridon Marines managed to push back the Daedra and seal the gate to Coldharbour.

But what can men do against such reckless Hate?

We are nothing in the eyes of Molag Bal. Is there anything that can be done to stop him?

Molag Bal is coming and the petty squabbles of these three "Empires" must be put to rest before he arrives. United we will all stand. Divided and Molag Bal's forces will most certainly consume the entire world.

The third Entry of Readran's Journal

This is the account of Readran Telessar, dated 6th of Hearthfire in 582 2E.

I have been reassigned to Grahtwood I am to serve the haughty prince Neamon. I should not say such things the poor man recently lost his wife. It was very obvious that the Prince wanted nothing to do with me. Since I am a Man, so he sent me to the Elden Root Mages guild to help the Wizards there.

Once I arrived I was bombarded with requests. They were going on and on about how they were expecting the Blue Wizard to come by. Who this was I have no idea. When was the last time the Dominion held a forum here?

That is when the door swung open. Everyone went silent. The Blue figures came in walked to a table sat down and began conversing with others. It was then I was attacked by requests but I tuned them out and just looked at the men.

Funny thing that.

There were two of them, and they both came in from the road with a hard look in their eyes, as if they'd traveled too far and seen too much. They were Wizards, true, both of them caked in dust, and when one would talk he'd stop to think and there would be the other to finish right up, like they had one brain and two mouths. It was creepy for sure, but neither seemed to notice.

I heard them say they were hunting Daedra. These looking like the kind that could find trouble when needed.

They got up and left shortly after arriving. The big one looked me dead in the eye on the way out. He did not watch where he was going, his face, expressionless. The little one left all these old maps and baubles. Travelling light? I suppose. Maybe they just had no more use of them.

I took them. No one seemed to notice then I sneaked out of the guild. I have been following their tracks for a few days now. There is something unsettling about this, maybe tomorrow I will catch up.

The fourth Entry of Readran's Journal

This is the account of Readran Telessar, dated 9th of Hearthfire in 582 2E.

I have followed the tracks of the Blue wizards for nearly a week before I caught up to them. The bigger one smiled and laughed. Told me I did a good job gathering the little one's maps and glass balls. They told me that this would be the first of many meetings we would have and that they have come for a destiny that only I could fulfill.

They serve a sect that worships the dead God Lorkhan. Lorkhan, the dead trickster who's heart came to Tamriel. Their goal is to bring the dead god back to life. How? They tried to explain it but the metaphysics were too much for me comprehend.

The shorter one could read the leaves, the lines on a man's hand. The bumps on his head, he could see. He had grown cold over the course of the three days I traveled with them, more distant. It must have gotten to him. The knowing.

We made camp just outside of Haven. When I woke up they were gone. The shorter fellow left his crystal ball he used to see into the future. When the bigger one left he took his cane but he left a walking stick behind with all these little notches in it. He was keeping track of something for sure.

Their name's were...I don't remember.

They told me their names plenty of times. But I forgot. I forgot. It is like they did not want me remembering.
