Background Description: Baaenji was born with a traveling merchant caravan that traveled Skyrim and parts of Cyrodil, but when the caravan was attack by bandits most were killed, including both of Baaenji’s parents and uncles. He was shipped back to his remaining family in Kenarthi’s roost, to live with a distant cousin, who happened to be a skooma dealer and part of a bandit clan.
Baaenji spent most of his youth as a drug runner (“who would suspect a cub?”) and learning the skooma trade. His cousin’s skooma production came to an end when Dominion forces caught wind of it and killed most of the group’s leaders, including Baaenji’s cousin.
Since he was still rather young, Baaenji was spared and with no remaining relatives, lived on the streets for a few months before taking up work as a sailor, eventually turning to mercenary work and getting hired as a personal bodyguard to private citizens, or else hired to guard cargo and goods during transport. He most recently takes to roaming the wilds and ruins of Auridon and beyond, gathering and scavenging and then taking his goods to sell at out of the way towns and cities that are not along major trade routes. Every now and then he will take a mercenary job or a bounty, and disappear for days and weeks before returning. He does not grow easily attached to people or places, and his loyalty to a selling spot depends entirely on how much he makes there.
