Background
Upon first glance Avella appears younger than her age would suggest. Being born of the noble elite, she has never experienced the hardships of the middle class or destitute peasantry. She was born in Wayrest, High Rock and raised by her father, Grackon Stormgarden and his mistress, the wood elf, Krimie Nightvale. Her father, Grackon was a highly regarded nobleman trader of Wayrest who was specifically in charge of the Wayrest fishery. Avella never knew her birth mother, Tasia Stormgarden, who dwelled in the art of Necromancy. When Avella was three, her mother was killed by a rogue vampire during a family outing to Iliac Bay.

It was well-known that Avella’s father, Grackon utilized Bosmer servants in his estate. After the death of his wife Tasia, Grackon took Krimie Nightvale, a Bosmer servant, as his mistress. She eventually became the primary caregiver for Avella and birthed three children. The two never married as it would have been shunned upon for a Breton man to marry a Bosmer woman.

As a child, Avella spent many years learning the magical school of conjuring from her father. She also became skilled with the bow through the teachings of her adoptive “mother”. At the age of ten, Avella was proficient in summoning rudimentary bound weapons and various benign Atronachs. Through her various summonings, she would often be the instigator of harmless pranks towards her younger Breton/Bosmer half-brothers and sisters.

It was a blissful childhood and adolescence for the most part. Although, Avella was always weary of the fact that her father would hide his relationship with the Bosmer, Krimie to the public. He would never be scene with his mistress or their three Breton/Bosmer children. As far as Wayrest high-society was concerned Grackon was a widower who had raised his daughter singlehandedly.

Reasons for leaving the Daggerfall Covenant
As Avella approached the age of 23 she fell into despair. Her father was concerned that she had not found a significant other. In truth, she had never been with a man throughout her entire adolescence and adulthood. At this time most of her friends from schooling had already been married and had children. Avella was a fairly attractive woman but suffered from extreme insecurity. She was shy and awkward around most people but especially with women whom she felt as competition.

Prejudice and judgement
Formally allegiant to her father and the Breton people, Avella now questions her father’s faith and position. She is lost in the wilderness, naive and is influenced easily by new experiences.

Professions:
None, Avella has never worked a day in her life. It wasn't until she left home at age 25 when she began to understand the value of being skilled at something. She does have great skills in Lute and Harp playing but never considered it a profession.

Interests
Avella thoroughly enjoys studying new restoration spells. At one point in her life she excelled at conjuring magic but has since giving it up due to it reminding her of her father. She is a highly skilled lute and harp player and has been known to randomly breakout into song (with the right amount of Nordic mead).

Special Ability
Avella suffers from "chronic tinnitus song", a condition where she constantly hears music playing in her head. She believes that the music she hears is from everything around her. For every person she meets, every tree she touches or even the sound of rain drops and the dance of flame, Avella hears their song. Unfortunately, she usually misinterprets the meaning of these songs. She is too naive to understand that the song speaks the inner truth of the person who "sings" it. She has yet to find any use of this ability in battle.

Appearance
5’ 6” in height, 125lbs, fairly bronze-skinned with dark brunette hair and large brown eyes. Her hair is pulled back into loosely draped curls, displaying her highborn pedigree. With very soft features, Avella appears to be 10 years younger than her actual age.

Weakness
Avella is naive and easily influenced by others. She may be fairly sophisticated because of her noble upbringing but she is not particularly worldly. Her view of the world was mostly shaped by the stories travelers and merchants would often tell on her father’s docks.

Healing Style
Avella considers herself an attending combat healer. Her ability to quickly heal others comes at a great cost to her own welfare. Her healing involves transferring the wound and its accompanying pain from the injured to herself. She is able to absorb the wound and then exhale most of the remnants into the air. Unfortunately, substantial wounds will leave traces of their injury on or in Avella's body. Eventually, the more healing she does the more she will become disfigured and incapacitated ((this is unknown to her)). Avella is a devote worshipper of Stendarr and is often found praying to the divine during her healing rituals.

Very short (even for a Breton) and is insecure about it.
She has had both male and female partners in the past.
Despises all Vampires because she believes her mother was killed by one.

Avella is currently afflicted with Noxophilic Sanguivoria. To the untrained eye she looks to be a perfectly normal woman. However, a follower of Hircine would easily smell her Vampiric scent. Due to her type of affliction, she is allowed to walk in daylight, but is very weak. Although her vampire strength is heightened at night. She was turned by the vampire Tania Val`Kavek.
