Rumors: Older brother of Krimie Nightvale. He served the Dominion army but has recently been honorably discharged due to injuries he had suffered on the battlefield. He rose to the rank of captain and was highly regarded as a fine marksman.
Background: Nalwynn is the second oldest son of Kramkoo Nightvale and Naelael Sagewind. He was born and raised in Falinesti, Valenwood. The city of walking trees. There he learn to hunt from his father and older brother, Nirlmir . Being the second son, Nalwynn idolized his older brother. He also adored and cared for Krimie, his younger sister by ten years. The Nightvale parents would eventually have nine children, though the mother, Naelael died during the birth of their last children, the twins, Nedlas and Kayte.
During his young adulthood, Nalwynn visited the Imperial City where he met a beautiful Dunmer woman named, Llori Duroth. They were deeply in love. They married and soon after, Llori became pregnant. She and the baby unfortunately died during the childbirth. Nalwynn has since never remarried or had a relationship of significance.
Of the nine Nightvale children, Nalwynn was the closest to his mother. He is an honest and kind man who has taken to heart many of the altruist teachings of his mother.
In 2E 573, Nalwynn's siblings; Nirlmir, Nedlas and Krimie were captured alongside other Bosmer by a noble man of Wayrest. During the ten years of captivity, the remaining Nightvales searched far and wide for their missing family. Nedlas and Krimie were eventually able to escape by the heroics of their brother Nirlmir who sacrificed his life for their safe return.
Nalwynn has recently returned to Valenwood after serving the Dominion army. He was honorably discharged after receiving wounds in battle. His leave from the army was also accelerated due to family issues in the small Valenwood village of Vulkwasten. His reckless and pregnant younger sister, Krimie was on a path of self-destruction that he felt compelled to halt.
In Vulkwasten, Nalwynn met a Dunmer woman named Hloriella who reminded him of his deceased wife. Logically, he has developed strong feelings towards her. He has never tried to activally pursue Hloriella but he enjoys supplying her with the Netch Jelly she craves.
Nalwynn currently serves as the personal guard for Elsynia Nightwind and was the champion of the Vulkswasten Guard Arena Tournament.
