NAME: Mok Firethief
PRONUNCIATION: Mok
NICKNAMES: What nicknames does your character go by?
AGE: 25, though he only lived 9 of those years on his own.
BIRTH DATE: Unknown
BIRTHPLACE: Underground Argonian
BIRTHSIGN: The Serpent
RACE: Goblin
CLASS: Primal Shaman
OCCUPATION: Primal Shaman, Cook
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 4'3" hunched, 5'3" standing up.
WEIGHT: 184 pounds
LATERALITY: Ambidextrous
SEXUALITY: Unknown
AFFLICTION: He previously played hosted to a Dunmer Mage.
RELIGION: Primal. A Goblin Religion
PATRON DEITIES: Primal Guardian

Personality
POSITIVE TRAITS: Is aware of the stuff he had done as Gnarlus. He is extremely good at keeping secrets, and with his Shaman Training, has a handle on his emotions. Very good with animals thru using Primal Magic.

NEGATIVE TRAITS: After everything Gnarlus had done in his body, Mok is extremely shy. He will not approach anyone, and if he is approached, he will try to shy away. His way of thinking is often clouded by his experience with Gnarlus, and the way he knows how to approach things, thus he is slow when it comes to responding. He has difficulty explaining things so that others can understand him, despite if he himself fully understands what he is explaining himself.
ALIGNMENT: Neutral

MORALITY: After Gnarlus, Mok understands he has a long way to go before he is trusted by the only ones he feels he can be with, The Sugar Claw Clan. He understands that no one will accept his help, or probably even speak to him. As such, he takes the initiative to assist in minor ways, that shouldn't interfere with the Sugar Claw Clan structure, such as brewing the Baandari's Joy for the Tavern, and patrolling the forests around the trade routes. When faced with a difficult decision, he will freeze up, often time not able to make a decision as he is not sure what decision would be right.

FEARS: Any ring shaped objects, specifically those that are adorned with gems of any kinds. Any spells that affect his mind, such as illusions, charm spells, hypnotism, or even calm spells. The only such spells he trusts from said catagory are ones he cast himself.

LIKES: Gnarlus told the truth when he admitted Mok was the one who knew to cook. Mok very much enjoyed cooking before he was taken control of by the Dunmer. Besides that, Mok's previous likes before Gnarlus included raiding and pillaging, eating, playing "Burn the Guar". However, outside of a Goblin clan now, Gnarlus does not have any true likes as he himself had not experienced anything except cooking.

DISLIKES: Any sort of jewelry or accessory you wear other then the bone accessories that he crafts himself as reagents for Primal Magic. Manipulating of people and lying.

Skills
VERY SKILLED: Being not in control of his body for 16 years, Mok is not Very Skilled at anything other then his Primal Magic rituals, and even then when his Patron, the Primal Guardian learned what was truly happening to Mok at the time (From the S'ren-Ja event with Raska and Lucrezia), it severed most of his powers until further noticed.

MODERATELY SKILLED: Primal Magic and Cooking. As above, even though Mok was aware of what was happening with his, he wasn't in control of his body while cooking. Thus Mok is very out of practice, and with new tools, ingredients, and spices available to him, it will take him a long time to get used to it. See second post for an explanation of Primal Magic.
Mok is also a Tinker and a scavenger. Mok is capable of fixing broken items using his creative view of things. Mok also a good problem solver, and carries with him a variety of tools and random items he can combine together to create something new.

UNSKILLED: Social Skills (He wasn't the one speaking before), any weaponry other then a special staff of his own making (See inventory), Arcane Magic (The Arcane Magic was fully Gnarlus, but Mok can still use wands). Anything requiring physical strength, hand-eye coordination, or endurance. Even without considering Mok's inexperience with his body, with years relying on Arcane Powers to do heavy lifting or simply take shortcuts, Mok is fairly weak and not used to excursion

LANGUAGES: Goblin and Tamerialic (Better then Gnarlus could. Gnarlus merely faked his goblin accent, but with 16 years of simply watching and listening, Mok has a rather firm grasp of the Common Language.

Appearance
HAIR COLOR: Gnarlus is bald.

WAR PAINT/TATTOOS: Free from Gnarlus' control, Mok depends mostly upon his Primal Magics, and a common belief in the Goblin Clans is that tattooing ones body will allow the Primal Energies from Nirn to better flow thru a shaman's Body. Mok had done similar style, painting the back on his body in the style similar to the way Dunmer do, tracing his spine and the back of his arms with Bloodcap Mushroom Dye. Though Mok feels this belief is false, he does it to try to separate himself from Gnarlus' beliefs.

EYE COLOR: Pure white, though the form of pupils appear to be forming.

SKIN COLOR: A Tanned Green color. Most goblins spend most there time underground, causing there skin to be a more pale color, but Gnarlus'/Mok's time in the sun has tanned his skin, causing him to stand out more compared to other Goblins.

BUILD: Mok looks fairly frail, with little muscle to his frame. Years of depending on Arcane Magic to do this has weaken Gnarlus/Mok severely.

SCARS: Much to everyone's surprise, Mok doesn't have any scars on his body, despite Gnarlus constantly throwing himself into harms way. The only noticeable thing it on Mok's body that resembles a scar is on his right hand. His ring ringer is noticeably smaller then that of his left Ring Finger, as if it was cut off.

SPEECH: Mok speaks mostly properly, though similar to Gnarlus' fake goblin accent, Mok skips past words he feels are not needed, like 'a' and 'the'. He also refers to himself in the third person.

CLOTHING: When in civilization, Mok wears a simple Sleeveless Red Tunic with a yellow trim and blue pair of leather pants, also with a yellow trim. With the Sleeveless Tunic, he wears a Bone Armband on his upper left arm.
When found in the wilds, Mok is seen wearing a rather primitive looking robe (Primal Style) and his lower body is wrapped in leg wrappings. Mok is often seen wearing various bone accessories while wearing his Primal Attire.

History
Early life: TO BE WRITTEN

Young Adulthood: This is going to be explained in Trapped Behind a Window, where it is explained what had truly happened during his time with Gnarlus.

Recent: When in S'ren-ja, the enchantment upon the town which caused the residents of the cursed town to behave like in the past effected Gnarlus, causing him to revert back to a time before he obtained the Shaman's Ring. Being released from the control of Gnarlus (Which under the enchantment, Mok wasn't aware of Gnarlus in the first place), Mok did the only thing he thought he could do: Call upon the Primal Guardian, to help lead him home. However, while Mok's prayer was answered, instead of being brought back to the Black Marsh, his Patron instead caused the ring to fall off Gnarlus, knowing it was the cause of everything. The ring was placed back upon Mok however, causing Gnarlus to take back control of Mok upon being taken out S'ren-Ja.
Thru of series of events, Gnarlus was exiled from the Sugar Claw Clan. It was decided that to end the threat of the Goblin's intelligence, his ring had to be removed. Thus, upon being escorted out of town, Krynger Battlecat with the assistance of Bhidul and Kade fooled Gnarlus into letting down his guard, and the ring was easily removed from Mok. Before the spirit in the ring was fully aware of what was happening, Kade and Mok convinced Krynger to drop the ring before it attempted to take control of him, and with Mok forcing the spirit out of the ring, Krynger smashed the ring, causing the spirit to lose its hold to Nirn.
Despite being freed from Gnarlus' control, Mok bowed to Krynger, and told him he would still carry out his exile. Not allowing any of the guards to speak, Mok departed. Out of practice with his own body, Mok found himself tripping every few steps, and trouble doing basic things such as eating, speaking, and even sleeping. The first week was a daunting time for Mok. Overtime however, he begun to get used to his body.
Mok found his connection to Primal Energy much weaker then it previously was, only being able to preform basic acts such as calming emotions, and summoning his Primal Spirit, and Fennac Fox named Ferniken.

INVENTORY: Currently Mok's entire inventory (Save for Ferniken) is still within Baandari's Trade Post, and he is unable to retrieve them.

  • Ferniken: A Fennac Fox and Mok's Primal Familiar, the two are connected by a mental link, and are aware of what the others surface thoughts, often time using this link to speak between each other. Ferniken is unable to go further then 50 feet from Mok while they are linked, but Mok can temporally severe this link so Ferniken can accomplish tasks that are further away. If they are forced further away then 50 feet from each other without Mok severing the link, the two will will feel the link snap away, causing the two feel a shot of pain thru in their minds, and putting both into a daze that will last roughly an hour.

Other Stuff

  • Shaman's Staff: A bone staff of Mok's own creation, made from an Oak Sapling and decorated with various Feathers. Gnarlus simply used this staff to swat at flies, preferring to use Arcane Staves. Mok, however is capable of channeling a healing stream thru it, though at the expense of his own essence. Also, the staff itself seems to have another utility, though it is unknown thus now.

  • Primal Reagents: In the bottom of Mok's closet in his former hovel is a small box with a emblem of a golden eagle down on its lid. Opening it will reveal various strange trinkets, vials and accessories that one would only assume are some sort of reagents for spells, though none for spells anyone other then a shaman would know.

More detailed list of what is in the Box

  • A Skullcap made of an actual skull of some creature.
  • A Belt 8 pouches, 4 filled with simple pebbles, 3 Vials of Sands, and a Vials of some sort of Grey Dust.
  • A Wooden Horn which Spirals once.
  • A rather large jewel of some sorts. It looks specially carved.

    OOC Information about Primal Magic

A Brief Explanation of Primal Magic
Primal Magic is a concept I formed in the Elder Scrolls Lore pertaining to Goblin Magics in ESO being centered more around Nature and Nirn rather then around Aetheral Energies. With the exception of one boss in Cyrodiil and one in Fungal Grotto, as their primary form of attack Goblin Shamans summon a Crow that flies out and attacks you (Its classified as a light attack). They are also capable of summoning totems that heal increase weapon damage and HP Regeneration of their allies with a green aura. Finally, similar to that of Spriggins, they are capable of tangling you with roots, rooting your character.
Furthermore for Goblin lairs themselves, their are clear forms of religious entity they believe in, showed by primitive shrines strewn around the place. Many of the ones I encountered had either a bird emblem or a skull of some sort hanging on it, so I figured I could incorporate that into the explanation.
What I finally came up with was that some Goblin Tribes may actually worship some sort of entity that they believe grants them this magic. The concept of it that since Goblins are to primitive to comprehend Aetheral Energies, they instead use their own essence or life force, which to give to Nirn, in order to receive help or assistance from Nirn. Give and receive. I also figured that since it casting Primal Magic requires sacrificing a portion of themselves, it should involve some sort of Mysticism as well, being able to commune with spirits and such. This is more of a side effect of it.

While this is a brief explanation, I intend to go into more detail with a separate Forum Thread later..

    OOC
I am actually going to derive Mok's spells he can cast with Primal Magic from another game I have played, and I will post a second post with the Spells he is capable of casting. Should I wish to add something to Primal Magic, I will speak to officers before implementing them. This way, Primal Magic doesn't become The Force.

    Spell List
Before I change it, I will go over any changes with the Mods. As Primal Magic is something of my own creation, I don't want it to become overpower. Most spells require a reagent of some sort to cast.

    Spell title((Reagent)) Description

    • Pop ((Pebbles)): The Primal Shaman infuses part of his essence into a pebble that he then throws at his enemy. The Pebble will explode in an explosion relevant to the size of the pebble used. The Explosion itself is not large enough to cause lethal damage by itself, but the shrapnel from the pebble will cause likely cause Puncture damage and injuries as well.

    • Gust ((A Horn Made of Wood)): The Shaman channels the Primal Essence into himself, and blows into a horn made of bone. A great gust of wind will be expelled from the horn, cause arrows to be deflect, light object be blown away and heavier things to stumble back. The gust lasts for 5 seconds. More practiced shamans are capable of creating lighter breezes without a horn.

    • Animate Nature ((A Staff Made of Oak)): A multipurpose spell for shamans with offensive and defensive capabilities. By channeling energies through a staff, often one being made of wood, a Shaman can animate otherwise inanimate items made of the same material of the staff. While most shamans use a basic wood staff, stone, bone have also been used. The most common way to use this spell is to animate roots from nearby trees and form a barrier, or to tangle foes into them.
Mok's Staff is shaped like a snake, and when it a pinch, Mok animates the staff itself to attack.

    • Quicksand A GLASS Vial of Sand: The Shaman channels his essence into a glass vial of sand (It is very important the vial is glass) and throws it to the ground. The ground will then quickly convert to a 5 foot by 5 foot area of quicksand. The area will dissipate upon the shamans will, with anything stuck in the quick sand being expelled from it.

    • Shaman's Light A Medium Size Jewel: A Shaman's version of Magelight, the shaman channels his essence through the jewel to create a light the color of the jewel. The light can be controlled in a variety of ways, and if the jewel used was clear light a diamond, the shaman can change the color.

    • Rituals Various: Shamans are capable of interacting with spirits and animals, using there essence to calm them.

      More to come.
