pinned What's your character's flair?

I know a lot of times our characters have flare and such that are not representable in game. So, I was thinking we could post some things our characters always carry around with them, something they may always wear, their favorite/most treasured items, and additionally any scars or tattoos that may not be representable in game.

Please know whatever you post here that is "visible flare" (i.e. an obvious facial scar, a visible necklace, a bag) can be referred to ICly and will be treated as public knowledge. "Non-visible flair" (i.e. a hidden scar, a concealed coin purse, a tiny pendant) should not be public knowledge or referred to ICly unless it has been revealed to your character.

All I can think of it Malyne is 6ft 10 inch and like 300lbs of muscle.

Readran's hands are calloused through hard work of wood and metal. Under his chest plate he wears a pendant given to him by his adopted Altmer parents, it has his name etched in Ayleidoon.

Lu has another tattoo on her hip, some scars scattered in different places, one on her shoulder from an arrow that's pretty noticeable. And she has really long hair that sometimes looks a bit wild and unkempt.

Krimie carries an acorn tied to a necklace around her neck to symbolize her leaf mate, Eranor. She plans to plant it when Eranor returns from Cyrodiil, hoping it will one day become a home for them to live in.

Afer the boy wonder has the obvious scar on his face that he never talks about. Burn marks on his arm from being a idiot. A nasty scar on his forearm that he keeps covered at all times. A emerald necklace that is usually around his neck that he gotten from mok's puzzle box which belongs to his mother. and minor scratches all over his body cause its Afer

Methredhel has three circular scars in both her knees and forearms, two in each of her calves, and one in each of her ears, obviously made by moderately-thick nails. She's also missing the middle finger on her right hand.

Sty is never without her fox, Basil. But you guys knew that. She doesn't really have anything else.

Tsalazami got bigger, mitten styled gauntlets instead of the ones she got ingame. Her hands in general are wider. She is slightly more heavier and brutish than ingame and got a couple of trinkets hung on her tail.

Shame that you can't have stuff around your belt. Like poaches and stuff, since Tsala also got some of that.

Bhidul is 7 foot 5 and has his eye scar from a bandit when he was young. On his belt of his heavy armor, he carries medicines, gold, and a decently sized steel crossbow with some bolts on the side. He also carries two swords and three knives; one of them for basic survival and two for combat. Finally, Bhi has multiple burns and scars on his back and torso from multiple enemy hits and has a large seabag over his great sword sheathe to carry a bunch of other crap and stuffz.

Niltsiel has two daggers on her at all times. These daggers although are Stygian Daggers in game, look much more bright, almost white. If studied it could be seen that the right color and normal blade sharpness is an enchantment and the actual daggers are rather dull stone. This enchantment tends to flicker time to time, being rather old and starting to wear (makes them rather useless against any type of anti-magic or magic resistance and not always reliable in general). A second enchantment could be seen, it is most likely some sort of flame enchantment. She stole these daggers from the same daedra hunter who trained her how to use them. When in combat, so usually not in BSR but every once in a while, she also wears two swords on her back, though in game they are flame enchanted ICly these swords are regular swords. If one is vigilant enough, they may notice she keeps a notebook hidden on her at all times, when in her normal tavern clothes (sleeveless shirt and vest) it could possibly be noticed beneath her vest. She also has two or three coin purses, full of different oddities or gold, though usually relatively empty. However, again, if one is vigilant they may notice a larger coin purse tucked under her shirt usually. She sometimes pulls this out but rarely does. She also has a gold ring on at all times, though usually tucked underneath her fingerless gloves, it may show a bit or glare in the right light.

Life always has a satchel and a large sack of lemons on him. In the satchel are lemony drinks and of course, more lemons. He also always smells lemony fresh.

Heh, I realized I hadn't posted my own character's flair in spite of making the thread. So here it is!

Elsynia Nightwind

Physical Flair
-She's 5ft tall.
-The largest scars would be 3 thick bands of claw marks down her back, between her shoulder blades.
-A band-shaped scar on her forearm. This would look like a burn almost.
-Brown tattoos in a tribal vine-like pattern, scrolling a little up her neck, across her shoulders and back, and down her arms and sides. One might notice they are in the same style as Alijham's and look as though they might create some form of pattern when their hands are intertwined.

Items with her at all times/Items she wears
-Her father's old leather pouch.
-She wears a necklace with clay beads and a sapphire, given to her by her husband.
-She wears a wedding ring.
-She wears a wooden ring inlaid with one topaz and two pearls, given to her by her husband. It belonged to her mother-in-law.
-A gem on her forehead, given to her by her mother.
-One of the keys to the cells.

Fedris
Items: always carries a tiny pink seashell with him from when he first met Styletta on the beach.
90% of the time he is also carrying moon sugar.
Has a dunmeri house ring around his finger almost always.

Hidden: A large burn scar across his right shoulder and back.

Hloriella
You'd have to blind to miss: One scar across her cheek, one on her lip, and one very tiny one on her chin. Hlor ALWAYS is wearing a little bag around her neck, nearly always visible. (You can assume it is)

Less obvious scars: A bite on her shoulder, a cut across her collar bone, a deep penetrating dagger scar on her right shoulder (that is noticeable on the back too), two gashes on her knees, two gashes on her ankles, and one nasty penetration scar on her hip. Also has a large scar on her right thigh.

Since I have more characters than I do friends, I'm just going to list Menelin here.

Menelin Bluebrook


Physical Flair

-Menelin stands at around 7'6", with a lithe, athletic build. Do not let the build fool you, she's mostly muscle.
-Though it's concealed by daily makeup, she has subtle lines of strain around her eyes and mouth, from the numerous times she's over exerted herself in casting magick.
-Her ears are slightly smaller than average of an Altmer her size.
-Previously, she held a large scar down her left arm, which has since faded thanks to numerous alchemical treatments.
-Contrary to herself as a Bosmer, she is left-handed.


Equipment

-When in her combat armor, she holds a wickedly honed backup dagger inside of her boot. When in her patrol gear, she hides it within her jacket.
-During the rare occasion when she is in town with her civilian clothing, she wears a platinum bracelet given by her late husband.
-She rarely removes the engagement ring given by her fiancee.
-Anytime she is not in her combat armor, she wears a thin, ebon plate under her shirt.
-She always carries a basic burn kit, for the wounds that restoration cannot mend.

Bhidul

Physical Build: Bhidul is 270lbs, heavier with armor donned; With Bhi's training, his armor is virtually deadweight, but he is not all too quick; He is 7'7ft tall (Thanks alot Zeni for not making Cathay-Raht options); Bhi is extremely conditioned, muscular, and freaking huge, or as others call him 'fat cat'; Bhi's eyes are a deep green color, similar to emeralds; His fur is generally soft and silky and takes on the color of sand and small brown tiger stripes for a pattern; Bhi's hair is slightly long and tied into dreadlocks to keep them from being all over the place.

General items: Healing, Stamina, and Magicka potions; Five or so daggers for hunting, killing, or just tactical use; Lots of gold; Silver-Moonstone wedding ring; Crossbow and bolts; Khajiiti religious prayer beads; Claw sharpener; Seeing glass to read smaller print

Weapons: Large Daedric claymore, taken from a Daedra lord in battle; Dual ancient Khajiiti katanas; Military-issue backup dagger; Claws; Stolen cultist's ritual dagger

Visual scars: Deep-cut scar thanks to a bandit

Hidden scars & Tattoos: Bhi has some scars from arrow wounds, and scattered slash marks which are mainly faint, but still visible. He has small tribal tattoos (or flesh imprints) on his back and a mysterious Daedric symbol on his shoulderblade.

Armor: Bhi wears a specially crafted and designed armor meant to keep him mobile and able to take hits. It is enchanted with a main ward which helps with slowing down some attacks, and also has a lightweight enchantment on it to increase speed. It also has a lightweight chitin vest for internal support. However, the enchantments can be broken off if hit too many times and cause them to combust, causing severe burns and injuries. The armor also has the restriction of joint movements and lowered field-of-vision from the helmet. His armor is large in general, and making him a bigger target. Bhi does tend to wear his Khajiiti tribal armor for true speed and agility, but his large plates are his strongsuit in combat.

Kisven/K'y Anrual

Visible: Missing eye when helmet is off. Akaviri staff usually strapped to his back, A battle axe or greatsword with the staff has recently been seen using dual maces, or his fists alone, depending on his mood. Obnoxious heavy armor. When his gauntlets are off a crystalline little finger on his left hand in place of the flesh that had once been there.

Non visible: Ritual markings along his whole body which were burned in by brands. Still wears a small vial of liquid nightshade with shards of welkynd stones around his neck.

Seelsta Agrippa

Visible: Nose piercing, Gentlemens clothes, A greatsword made by Thorn. Slight hints of tattoos on exposed flesh

Non Visible: Full body tattoo Gift from the Maromer. A boot dagger.

Lucien Sarkaz

Visible: Black robes with a red hand embroidered on the front. Twin daggers. A pair of dark gold eyes.

Non visible: A similar necklace to K'y's A small vial of liquid Nightshade with shards of welkynd stones around his neck. (I'll do this ones alt sheet later. Still fleshing out the details.)

The Amazing Kashya Vulano of Skywatch

General

Kashya stands at somewhere around 6'8". A tall, toned build accompanies a generally placid face and rough features. Her body is of fairly even proportion, with broad shoulders and a face that tends to jump from one emotion to the next in the matter of a split moment.

Physical Flair

Kashya owns a variety of scars. While some hidden scars scatter her body in various areas like the stomach and shoulder, Kashya's most prominent scar rests on her cheek. It is a relatively smooth cut, flaring out towards the end. Her eyes particularly tend to beam, and are debatably her most evident characteristic.

Items

While she does not keep a lot on her, Kashya does keep a flask hidden in a pocket sewn onto the back of her armour. Otherwise, she tends to keep a satchel on her with a few journals and books inside.
