Physical Description
Ellix is tall and somewhat slender. She does not appear to have much muscle mass. She has light brown hair that she wears loose past her shoulders, and large striking green eyes. If you look closely, she has a light dusting of freckles over much of her face and body. She does not normally wear armor, instead opting for simple cotton clothing, and she sometimes carries a large hammer on her back.She recently started wearing a gold ring on her left hand, in the shape of two eagles coming together with their talons forming the setting of the stone.

Ellix is young and inexperienced, and is slightly naive at times. Since she is still relatively un-traveled, she isn't quite as savvy as most of the people around her, and can be too trusting at times. She has frequent bursts of impulsiveness that have, so far, not gotten her into any trouble. She is not extremely outgoing, but is very friendly, and rarely has anything bad to say about anyone. She greatly enjoys new people, and new experiences.
Background
Ellix grew up in a well respected and wealthy family in Auridon. For several generations, the members of her family held reputations as powerful mages. Almost from birth, Ellix had been trained in magicka, and was fully expected to carry on the family legacy.
Unfortunately, Ellix has no talent or affinity for magick, and her lack of skill became increasingly apparent as she grew older. Living in a traditional Altmer society, this caused her to feel like somewhat of a pariah (although no one out-rightly treated her badly for it).
She did always have a great talent working with her hands, and loved to create beautiful things. She spent all of her free time painting, sculpting, and even sewing and dying garments. By the time she was a teenager, her parents decided to allow her to stop her magicka training, and instead be allowed to pursue what she loved and had talent for. She was trained as an artist for nearly 10 years, and developed very remarkable skill.
Despite being very happy in her work, she never did shake the feeling of being a bit of an outsider in her society, and never developed any close relationships with other Altmer. She began to feel like she was stagnating there, and knew that her creativity would become stifled if she did not make a change. On a bout of impulsiveness, she traveled to Skywatch and bought passage on a boat headed for Velyn Harbor. She did not have any plans, other than to travel and expand her very small world.
Current Status
Ellix is becoming much more confident and capable. She is engaged to Serndalarin, who has helped her realize her own strengths, and is helping her travel and see more of the world. She has been training rigorously, and is getting decent with a hammer (she is still no warrior, though).
After realizing that they wanted different things out of life, Sern and Ellix have unfortunately gone their separate ways. Ellix returned to Auridon for a time, but is now branching back out into the world.
