So I found this little book, I think I will try and write down things that happen during my travels.
So after the mishap with the thieves, things got... Surprisingly better. I ran into the young Altmer girl I knew years ago, Ellix. She is definitely grown up now though. Even has a mate it looks like. I never thought I would see her again but I did, and I’ve actually been traveling with the group she joined.
When we were younger she did always seem to act differently from her family. But not so much in-front of them, I remember one time I was cleaning in there house and in Ellix’s room I found many little drawings all over. That girl could draw! But she nearly caught her barn on fire though practicing… A healing spell I think. Not much for magick that one.

Last night, I was making conversation with a Bosmer, Alena Nightwind. What peaked my interest with her was the blades that hung by her belt. She was fairly smaller than I am but looked like she was pretty dangerous. I had a little too much to drink. Ellix had to hold me up most the night while looking for a place for me to sleep the night. Luckily the Bosmer I met earlier in the night knew a place I could and lead us there. I do not remember much of what happened after that… I will cut back on the alcohol for a while.

I have met a plethora of people while traveling with this caravan. The Bosmer Alena Nightwind, her mate The Witchfinder, or so I believe how they act together, Another Bosmer that goes by the name Krimie, Serndalarin; a mercenary and where Ellix’s heart thrives who has also willingly offered to help with my slight situation, Chasianna the Altmer Mage who seems to just enjoy life, and many others as well. They all seem to treat me with respect and so I will do the same.

I have not written in a while after arriving at appears to be their hometown. They are recognized by most and seem to be a lot more relaxed being here than elsewhere. The reason I picked this little book back up though is because I have thought of something that might come in handy. I will write more when I have figured out how to make it.

I have told a couple people about it but have mostly kept it a secret. The few that know have helped me design it and I have finally tested it. IT WORKS! The Grapple, is what I have been calling it, has been able to hold my own weight and more. The Black Sap provided by Alena has been the exact solution I needed. I have cut and sanded thicker arrows so the pressure will not break them. Attached thin but strong ropes to the metal rings on the arrow itself. I have moved the Black Sap into little leather pouches and bound them to the tip of the arrow instead of the arrowhead. Ensuring that when the arrow hits the Sap binds to the target.

Well again it has been a while since i wrote. Tigrus, the 2nd lieutenant, offered me a job with the guard. I gladly accepted it as the routines feel the most comfortable with what I am most used to.
Unfortunately, Ellix found herself in a predicament, She is safe but got a little banged up. Right before the Thalmor decided to inspect the city for Skooma use. That bastard inspector found some upstairs but I can’t believe its from anyone that lives in the town. They will be returning again in 4 days time in hope that we can find enough evidence that it was planted. I have faith that we will be fine but if that Inspector as any other tricks up his sleeves... I am not sure what will happen. Tigrus has already stated he will take the blame for the found skooma but I don’t think anyone will believe him.
