Backstory(ish)
Vilquin is quite the oddity. He doesn't seem to have many feelings, but he is always curious in understanding them. He doesn't know when, or where, or really if he was born, he only has memories of searching, and understanding, and learning. And so when he comes across a town so filled with emotion, he can't bring himself to continue his travels right away, they intrigue him too much. But he not without his own problems still, he often faces himself with confusion within his own mind, and can't hold himself from situations as normal people would, because he just doesn't get it.

A single brown leather book, glowing blue with some sort of symbol on the front, a circle with a web of straight lines, on the front cover. He always seems to be in the middle of it, and almost always is reading it.
A silver stylus, though he never has anything to engrave or carve. He often can be found with the stylus between his fingers or his lips, especially when he isn't reading.
