Of course, not everyone likes addons or has the computer power for them. Though, if you're like me and were one of those people who modded TES V: Skyrim until it crashed, you're probably into using addons. Here's a list of addons that I find myself unable to live without when it comes to RP. I've sorted them by the categories Minon keeps them in. Feel free to add!

First Thing's First

Minion
Install Minion. Just do it. Minion is the best way to manage/organize/find addons. It even has a handy-dandy "update all" button for when the patches roll around and all of your addons need updates. Consider it the Nexus Mod Manager but for ESO addons. You're welcome.



Roleplay Addons

Wykkyd's Full Immersion
This one has quite a few features, but the ones I consider to be useful are, auto-sheathing your weapon while not in combat; binding a key to helm toggle; hiding quest windows, compass, alerts, and more.

Roll Call
This is wonderful for combat RP and can have use in all sorts of other types of RP. It allows you to roll so many different types of dice, or randomly pick a number out of 100. It also allows you to flip a coin. Once you've done any number of these things, it will post it automatically to a group chat. You can also turn on the option to post it to your chat box for you to send to any chat channel.

Circonians EmoteIt
This one is extremely fun but can be a bit annoying if not set up correctly. Additionally, it can take a bit to set up. But, once you've got it all up and running, it's loads of fun. This addon allows you to set "trigger words" for emotes, that way, if you type the trigger word into /say or /emote, it will automatically initiate an emote for you. For example, I have a trigger phrase set to "nods a hello." Whenever I type that in the emote chat channel, /nod will automatically initiate. Just be sure to remember - other emotes break sitting emotes.

Sit On Benches
It literally allows you to do what you'd think it would. Just align yourself so that your butt is above the bench or seat, and type /sitbench.



Chat Addons

pChat
I consider this to be the chat mod. It has absurd amounts of incredible things it does, including saving all of your chat logs up to 24 hours, even if you log out, disconnect, get kicked from the server, or reload UI; adding timestamps; allowing you to display character names instead of or in addition to account names; copyable text; and so much more.

Emote Shortcuts
This one is simple but lovely. It essentially allows you to create key binds for your favorite emotes. That way you don't have to time /juggleflame every time you wish to impress someone with your fancy flame juggling skills. Just set the emote to a key under "Controls" and you can juggle flames in one push of a button!

FCO Chat Tab Brain
This is another fairly simple one that is still extremely useful. It allows you to set how long it takes for your chat and chat buttons to fade, as well as offers a plainer chat box background for easy reading. Most importantly though, it makes handling your chat tabs a breeze. You can set your chat tabs to a key or bind a key to cycle through them. You can set it so that each incoming message on any channel has a specific sound notification. Lots of convenient stuff.



Bag/Inventory Addons

Wykkyd's Outfitter
THIS ADDON. I hate playing without it. I use it every single time I log in. It allows you to save whatever you're currently wearing as an outfit. You can save loads of different outfits. Then when you're ready to change, select the one you want and click equip. In an instant all of your current items will be unequipped and the set you saved will be equipped. Allows you to make the quick change without even having to stop in front of the tavern to dress your character up properly. Then, once you're done with your RP and ready for some dungeons, equip your saved armor outfit, and BAM! No need to dig through your bags to painstakingly equip each piece. It's all done for you.



Misc. Addons

NoSpin
This. This one is another addon that I hate playing without. It's so simple but so convenient. It allows you to open up any menu (friends list, guild tab, skills, inventory, etc) without it initiating that zoom-in and spin. So, you can continue to emote as you check your friends list to see who's online. You can theorycraft and look at your skills as you're RPing and leaning against the counter. So. Nice.
