This has led him to be robbed and tricked more than once but he never learns his lesson. His grandfather is a strict, typical snobby Altmer who helped shape his personality. His father and step-mother on the other hand were very generous, teaching him two conflicting viewpoints. Eventually a mage was hired to teach him the art of restoration magic and he has been improving steadily. After reading some spellbooks he became interested in reading and learning new things. Eventually that love for books turned into a writing habit. He would never admit it, but he secretly aspires to be a famous author and leave the noble's life someday.
