Do' Zashirr
Basic Information
ESO @name:@SadisticChicken
Character Name:
(Do') Zashirr
Race:
Khajiit
Age:
32
Sex:
Male
Marital Status:
Single
Sexual Orientation:
Straight
Physical Description
Zashirr is a burly, strong Khaiiit whose orange and white fur is traced with black stripes. Like his father, Zashirr has light green eyes. Zashirr does little in the way of grooming, allowing himself a large, swept back mane which encompasses almost his entire head, which keeps him warm in his travels. Upon closer inspection, Zashirr is seen to have wounds tracing the left side of his face, a reminder of a job that almost cost his life as a young adventurer. Zashirr favours a style of armour inspired heavily by Nedic culture, an acclamation to the seasoned traveller's past, which he is able to attach/detach his armoured plates depending on his situation. The Khajiit holds close many a weapon -a dagger he lifted from a Bosmer blacksmith, and sword and shield which have kept him safe in his time as a mercenary- but he feels most at home in battle with his battleaxe firmly gripped.
Personality
Zashirr is unlike many brash, unruly mercenaries in that it is almost impossible to get a word out of him. The only thing Zashirr believes he has in common with others of his profession is their love to drink, in which he considers himself part fish. Zashirr is intimidating, and quick to anger- but you'll get little verbal warning that you've flared his temper, so much as a fist to the dome. Zashirr would like everyone to believe he has a stone heart (Zashirr rarely acknowledges others in his vicinity and will never go out seeking friends) but everyone who has spilt blood alongside Zashirr has gained themselves a steadfast ally -be it bar room brawl (of which he has many) to war. Zashirr is an infamously hopeless wooer of women -which comes as a given when you refuse to speak- but still, he'll have a crack at any woman who is brave enough to approach him after a few flagons of ale.
Zashirr has only one great fear, water, which he would rather die than be revealed. Zashirr will do anything for gold (within reasonable limit), and this has gotten him in trouble with many city guard garrisons in the Northern regions of Tamriel.

Background
From an early age, it was apparent Zashirr had a knack for fighting. Being the tallest and burliest of his litter, he would protect his brothers and sisters against their childhood bullies. Zashirr developed a taste for drink quite early in his life, which sprouted from his time working as a dockhand- from which sailors would encourage him to be tough. Zashirr fell into the life of a sell-sword almost naturally, from taking small jobs like pest extermination, to bodyguarding adventurers and aiding local militias with bandit raids. Zashirr, inspired no doubt by his time as a dockworker took up a life on the ocean (a terrible career for one deathly afraid of any body of water larger than himself), being folded into the crew of The Cockerel, over time working his way upto its boatswain, a memory he looks to fondly. Zashirr later left this life for one less wet, in a contrasting delight he found himself as a sell-sword in Alik'r. The life of a mercenary took Zashirr into the North of Tamriel, where he spent many a years working in Skyrim and High Rock also. It was here he developed a fondness of Nedish armor, it's skirt-covered leggings meant he was kept both warm in winter and cool in the summer, and the open-armed design of the cuirass meant he could flail his great axe around with little resistance. Zashirr has kept the suit of armour gifted to him by a wealthy client, after he received a wound across his face defending the Breton from a ragtag ambush by Argonian bandits, which has developed some sort of fierce blood-grudge against the Argonian race.
Although Zashirr has no military experience, he is proud of his homeland's part in the Aldmeri Dominion, and will always be on hand to protect her both abroad and at home.
