Tall for suthay, Dar’Ivqei would still be considered short by most races. She is slender and long-limbed, making her look coltish — and, to some, immature. An impression that contrasts with her facial features — in particular, her stern brow and roman nose, which give her a serious and no-nonsense air. It is likely that neither assumption is entirely true.
Dar’Ivqei keeps her hair tied back in a series of short braids, into which she ties baubles and trinkets. She has pierced her ears in multiple places. Her fur is short and sleek in any season, save for her tail which becomes especially fluffy near the tip. Said fur is white, and dotted with faded grey spots like those of the snowy sabrecat. Against such a plain background, her orange eyes appear particularly brilliant.
She prefers to make her own armour, and tends toward dunmer aesthetics — chitinous and bony.
Dar’Ivqei values things. People? She can take or leave, with a much higher chance of the latter than the former.
She is cynical, and slow to trust. But she is also willing to do most anything for a septim — she’ll just keep an eye on her back while she does it.
This is not to say that she is mean, or even aloof. Dar’Ivqei can be a pleasant conversationalist, and is as capable of relaxing in the local tavern as the next person. However, she values her time alone almost as much as she values actual valuables, and is more often to be found fishing than socialising.

While born in Elsweyr, Dar’Ivqei was raised in Morrowind, and remembers little of the Khajiit homelands. She grew up surrounded by open prejudice against her people, and from this learned distrust. She also saw that gold was able to fix most any problem, and from this came her values.
As she grew older, Dar’Ivqei found drakes hard to come by, and legitimate jobs even harder, so she fell into a bad, skooma-consuming crowd. She learned how to manufacture the drug, and managed to make enough gold to leave town. She has not since returned to Morrowind, though frequently becomes homesick for it.
Outside of Morrowind, she had no more luck finding a job than inside its borders. She began stealing food to survive, and soon found herself stealing valuables to sell. Over time, she built up the skills necessary to being a thief, while continuing her wandering over all of Tamriel.
It turns out that these same skills are also useful in the art of “questing”, and so Dar’Ivqei began taking up odd and dangerous jobs from the people she met on her travels.
Presently, she finds herself in Valenwood, and is content to call it something like home — but it will not be long before her wanderlust gets the better of her and she seeks out new locales.
