Nolns is a slightly taller than average imperial with light brownish-yellow eyes. He has given up on cutting his blondish-grey hair, and thus is hangs down to his shoulders. He also has stopped cutting his facial hair out of his tendency to go into cold locations. He can be found wearing armor ranging from mismatched heavy and medium armor, to no more than robes and a hat. He most usually carries a large two-handed sword with him, but at times with use two short swords or daggers if truly needed. If he's feeling sneaky he will use a bow, usually fashioned from a maple branch. He commonly wears face paint on one half of his face to hide scars he has convinced himself are there.

Nolns is a usually calm fellow whom, when drunk can become very boisterous and irritable. When sober however, he is incredibly nice to those whom he feels deserve kindness, and doesn't bother with those he does not feels deserve kindness. However, he will make sure any and all Vampires feel unwelcome. While not racist, he will joke around at times. He can tell stories and loves to make people happy while sitting next to a fire eating and drinking.
Background:
Nolns is a wanderer of sorts. He has been from Balmora to Hammerfell. From Imperial City to Riften. HE has been traveling since his was 25, when, while walking home to Riften with his wife after a long day of hunting and forging, they were attacked by vampires. He barely made it out alive, and his wife was not so lucky, She had been killed and raised as an undead thrall, which meant that Nolns had to kill her to get out. He has been having nightmares ever since that fateful night, and any time he sees a vampire do wrong, he will make sure that they are judged for it. It has been confirmed that he is a former member of the Dawnguard.
From his encounters in the past, he has sworn an oath to go out and make the world a better place, from reporting or harming bandits, to helping the war effort from the front lines. In order to help himself do this successfully, he has learned the ways of the Templar.
