Amara was close with her father growing up but her relationship with her mother was strained. The last she saw her parents, which was around 17, they were sailing to Skyrim for a short tour. They were presumed dead after a year of no return and no word from Skyrim, although some people called them traitors to the throne in hushed whispers. Amara followed her parents footsteps in becoming a high ranked soldier close to the court. Her sister is a highly skilled mage teaching in Alinor, and lives with her husband and daughter. Amara visits them regularly and is close with her niece, who wishes to follow in her aunt's footsteps.
