A letter hangs off the bannister outside of the Tall Trunk Tavern, folded in two. On the front of the parchment, a headline is intricately written in the style of the Dominion Heralds', however, it is written in what is quite obviously blood.
Friends,
I have taken another pawn in the game. Won another chip. I draw ever closer to victory, and you ever closer to losing your king. Or queen, as it were. By now, it should be obvious to any in this town that the body was a warning to this so-called 'Kogo Onei' operating within the town, and outside. I have no doubt in my mind that they will eventually leech onto my case, and attempt to find me. And that, friends, is what shall happen if they do. This game is between myself and the law. Those who disregard the rules of the game are not welcome.
Heed my warning, Onei, for it will only be told once.
