Weaknesses:

-Affection for children (won’t take a job if it involves a child)
-Psychogenic Fugue – If Krandle stays in his assumed identity too long, he can become confused about personal identity. Once he has completed a job he will suddenly and unexpectedly disappear, often traveling far away from his current job location. During this time, he does not remember who he is or where he is going. Once the fugue wears off, he has difficulty remembering exactly what happened and is left with fragments of memories. In the past, he has returned to his last job to observe the people who he had become close with…and then disappears into the shadows never to return.
As the fugue continues to take a toil on his mind, he may have momentary lapses of memory loss, at times confusing multiple identities he has assumed in the past. This usually first starts showing signs with sudden headaches and blank stares.
Background
Krandle’s memories of his past are fractured. He has a difficult time remembering if they are his past or if it is a story he has created for a job. He maintains a small home deep in the heart of Valenwood near Elden Root, and returns there in between jobs. This isolated wooded area acts as a therapeutic retreat after long jobs have left him in a state of identity confusion.
Krandle’s usual personality reflects the role he has taken in order to accomplish the job he is working. He often masquerades as a merchant, a servant, or a tutor in a variety of languages and cultures. While his name is unknown in the underworld of Tamriel, he is often called ‘The Fox’. The Fox receives his job offers from a handler simply known as Fae.
Fae works for a clandestine organization that Krandle has discovered is called The Order. Fae always brings multiple contracts for The Fox to sift through. He usually takes weeks to read the contracts and decide on which he will pursue. If The Fox has arrived among people, know he is working a job.
While he is a capable fighter, usually wielding dual daggers, he detests open combat and rarely engages in it. His assumed identities are his weapons. Once he chooses a job, he often embeds himself into the job for months in order to accomplish his goal. He normally befriends a person (usually a woman) who is close to his mark in order to observe and gather information. He is willing to do whatever it takes to see the job done. His dedication to his job has brought him into several ‘morally complicated’ situations, but he always maintains his assumed role, no matter the personal cost.
Current Status
On a recent job assignment, Krandle has run into an old friend. Through a series of conversations, she mentioned that he should consider working the ‘other side of the table’. Either from a final break in his mental status (psychogenic fugue) or as a part of his current ‘job’, Krandle has begun reaching out to old connections in order to establish himself within the Criminal Underground as one of his old identities, Krandle Gaersly.
