- ESO @name: @Draco4000
- Character Name: J'faero Sootpaw
- Race: Khajiit
- Age: 29
- Sex: Male
- Marital Status: Single
- Physical Description: ((See end of sheet))
- Personality:
J'faero is a rather simple Khajiit at heart, preferring the simple comforts that life has to offer. He is very laid back and comfortable in almost any situation. If something happens to make the situation he finds himself in uncomfortable, he generally uses sarcasm or wit to try and lighten the mood (sometimes inappropriately), or simply keeps his mouth shut in general, depending on how much he himself is involved. He generally avoids random confrontation if possible, but has chosen to fight for the Aldmeri Dominion in his own way (a bit of healing and a LOT of fire) in order to protect the security of his people and his loved ones. He also has a minor crush on Queen Ayrenn, but he would never openly admit it. J'faero is also very protective of his adopted daughter, and will not speak much of her to anyone he doesn't have a decent bond of trust with.
J'faero has a strong dislike for water or the cold. When it begins to rain, he will almost always don his hood to avoid getting any more wet than he can help, and he is not a huge fan of having to swim anywhere. J'faero has never been to Skyrim, but he has heard about it, and it sounded terribly uncomfortable. J'faero also tends to stay away from overly loud and annoying people, especially drunkards. While he has no issue with social drinking, he dislikes those who drink a little too much. He's a Khajiit after all, and his ears are more sensitive than the common human or orc. This is another reason he didn't like the description of Skyrim and it's Nords...
This one likes...
- Humour
- Shows of cunning or intelligence
- Relaxing/being comfortable
- The Aldmeri Dominion and Queen Ayrenn
- Cuddles with his daughter
This one is not a fan of...
- Loud and/or obnoxious people
- Narcissists (or elves with over-inflated egos)
- Being wet / the rain
- Being cold
- Overly reckless people if they endanger anyone other than themselves. (If they're solo, he doesn't tend to mind)
Strengths and skills this one bears...
- Fondness and aptitude with fire magics (hence being a mage-style dragon knight)
- Has learned to infuse his natural claws with fire magic should the need arise
- Dabbles in the healing arts as well, but he's no pro.
- Sneaky when he needs to be
- Aspiring enchanter and alchemist
- Can talk his way out of most situations... as long as he doesn't say something to make it worse...
Weaknesses of this one...
- Dislikes going anywhere that is overly wet or cold
- Addicted to sweets
- Has a strong fondness for shiny or valuable trinkets
- Not the most capable melee fighter
- Places higher importance on skill and cunning than physical strength or endurance.
- Very protective of his daughter **
** (If someone wanted to use her against him, such as a hostage or death threats, he would do pretty well anything to protect her, including break the law or lay down his own life.)
- Background:
Most of J'faero's life was a fairly typical one for a Khajiit cub. He grew up in the warm sands of northern Elsweyr, and was known to get into trouble now and again for having "sticky paws". He eventually took a liking to magic, both offensive and protective in nature, when he witnessed the amazing displays that many travelling mages were able to produce throughout his youth. He was taken under the wing of his own tribe's shaman and taught the ways of fire magic, as well as basic healing arts, maintaining a focus on his love for the warmth of his homeland. He was forced to leave his home at the age of 24, for reasons he won't share unless he trusts someone very deeply, and has been practicing in the safety of the wilds of the Dominion lands for the most part ever since.
J'faero discovered a very young bosmer girl, scared and alone, one day while on his journeys. Her family was murdered by early Veiled Heritance sympathizers, and she was spared only due to being out in the forest playing while the attack occurred. Seeing no alternative and taking pity on the young girl, J'faero took her along with him, and continues to do so to this day. They have grown very close in a parent-child relationship, and now consider one another to be their adopted father/daughter. J'faero has no permanent home, so the location of he and his child's dwelling changes quite often, and is not something he will discuss with many people.
