Faction Check-ins
Black Gulls: The Black Gulls have added one new member in the past week. We had a closed event at the request of the Inspector, who only wanted a small group for a dungeon delve. We will be running an open event sometime next week. We'll get the details posted on the home page as soon as we have them nailed down.
Fighters Guild: No new recruits or events planned. Though the cross over with mages guild went smoothly.
Mages Guild: Mages Guild got a few new recruits, their new duties assigned and their names added to the roster. At the moment, a small -man events scheduled to run weakly,as a testing ground and preparation to larger events in the following month. At the moment, a coordinated story in progression with Menelin.
Check-Ins
The Diplomacy Department - This week we have run into a dry spell for recruiting. We have recruited 17 new members since our last meeting. Ellix and Ali continue to do an amazing job. Ellix has continued focusing on recruiting and processing apps. Ali has also been sending out the new recruits to Faction Leaders to follow up with. This week we will continue with our zone ads and we will update the various sites that we use to promote.
Scribe: as usual not much to say- The new system for factions is working well. I have no idea how the event went because i was not there
Roster has been doing alright, but very slow (ROOGIN) We approved several trails to fulls, but there are a few that haven't revised or submitted a sheet yet. Other than that, we have MANY up for promotion up till the 25th I believe.
Still problems with getting new members involved with events and RP in general. Very difficult to get people involved via the use of own characters as it can be very OOC for them to do that. Elsy is going to continue the RP school/lessons to try to help but other methods will be needed. The best way right now is to use the factions still. Factions leaders need to speak to new members and try to get them involved in RP within their faction as much as possible to try to get them involved.
Speaking to members about factions no longer the OOC and IC leader’s job for each faction. Scribe department will now be speaking to new members about factions. Officers are required to check to see if new members have been spoken to about factions- and if they have not, they then have to speak to the member and direct them to the faction(s) most suited to their character aswell as who they must speak to (the IC or OOC leader) of that faction. From there it is the OOC or IC leader’s job to make sure the new member is involved in their faction.
