Lexia is a striking High Elf with light golden hair and wide, expressive pale blue eyes. Her skin bears no blemish, is smooth and even to the extent that it might be considered striking, in and of itself. She keeps her nails manicured whenever possible and hair brushed and shining as part of her duty to keep herself presentable, also usually wearing a garland or other floral motif, usually in the form of jewelry where natural blooms are inappropriate.

Rumor and known History: On first blush, Lexia appears to be nothing more than a traveling priestess of Dibella. Serene and unassuming, she performs her duties and ceremony with a quiet grace, though the more astute might notice a refined air to her. General knowledge upon investigation would reveal that she was a shipwreck survivor that washed up on one of the smaller islands around Auridon. After making her way to the main island, she met up with Hirel Undosome and the two seemed to become close, the knight acting as the priestess’ protector as she traveled unexpectedly to Grahtwood and beyond, instead of returning to Summerset.

Personality: Lexia gives the impression her appearance provides: pleasant, mild and refined, though one can quickly realize she has a fondness for flowery language, word-games, and for sometimes carrying a metaphor too far. She takes a lot of pride in trying to be clever and can more often than not, outfox herself when talking with someone more straightforward. She is still a bit naïve and optimistic when solving problems, and can be very guilty of leaping before she looks, trusting on her cleverness and training in the arts of covertcy, sometimes resorting to an overly convoluted a solution instead of the most obvious and straightforward. She prefers the finer things in life, and takes care to provide them for not only herself, but her loved ones and petitioners, reveling in the pampering and near decadence they are able to provide. As a consequence, she can be a bit vocal and annoying when forced to ‘rough it’ and do without her normal maintenance and luxuries. She is obviously very at home with the nobility and upper crust, and this can sometimes lead to her sticking out when otherwise she would be trying to go beneath notice in more common surroundings.

Background
Lexia grew up as the daughter of a small noble household on the Summerset Isles. Small, but tactically important to the greater political climate. She spent her childhood learning all the things required of a young noblewoman, how to eat, how to accept callers, what would be expected of her later in life. But the Elf found her mind drifting beyond such superficial matters more and more, her intelligence quickly outstripping such teachers as were thrown her way until, more as a way to keep her occupied than anything else, she was assigned a governess, ostensibly a priestess of Dibella, well-schooled in politics and subtler arts.

It was at this point, the young Elf started to blossom, drinking in knowledge and showing an aptitude for diplomacy and talent required for covert thought and action. Nimble of finger and quick of wit, it wasn’t long before her parents noticed the change in her as well. Never one to let something good go to waste, her father let her prove herself as an asset more and more, her sharp ears catching subtle hints at various dinners, balls, and gatherings of the nobility, snapping up the stray bits of information and turning them to her household’s advantage whenever possible.

Even so, the girl yearned for more and more, feeling the tug of something greater, something more than fun and games. It was this feeling with which she approached her once-teacher about possible service in the priestesshood of Dibella. And so it was that Lexia undertook such instruction, hoping one day to join the order and serve not only the Maiden, but to do her part in using her talents for the greater harmony of Tamriel as a whole, though it may not have been a path her family was too pleased about, opening a rift between herself and her father for perhaps the first time in her life.

It was during this time that her talents for intelligence-gathering came to wider attention among certain circles and she worked with and became close to Hirel Undosome, agent of the Queen’s Eyes, using her skills to only to further her own family, but in service for the Dominion as a whole. But nothing lasts forever. As it turned out, a rising faction within the Aldmeri Dominion had their own plans, many faceted and deeply hidden. So it was that in order to exert their own influence on the Galathras, and to secure support for their own agenda, the Veiled Heritance staged an attempted and ultimately successful kidnapping of the Galathras’ daughter, initially foiled by Hirel, but Lexia soon found herself aboard a ship with an unknown destination, filled with agents of the Heritance and other kidnapees and hostages.

Luckily (or unluckily), the ship she was being transported on was caught in a storm just off the coast of Auridon with a supernatural fury and dashed upon the rocks of one of the smaller islands surrounding the mainland. Having been in the middle of effecting her own escape, Lexia was able to cling to a bit of wreckage and washed up on a nearby deserted beach. It was with the help of another Elf that she eventually made her way back to Auridon, only to encounter a near-frantic Hirel. Not wanting to be parted from each other, the two petitioned Mara on the spot and joined forces, facing the troubles besetting the Dominion and Tamriel together instead of returning to Summerset.
