It was a rainy day as Elia decided to go to the ruins which she lately found. She had a good breakfeast in her stomach and she was pretty much prepared for the wet and dirty dungeon. Finding the entrance of the ruins wasnt easy as well. Hidden behind a hill, between alot of the natural fauna of Malabal Tor, she noticed the light grey pillars which seems to fall into itself any second now. She noticed a light blue light coming from behind those pillars and she was sure that there will be bandits, assassins or even worse...

Carefully, the Khajiit sneaked towards the entrance, hiding behind the pillars to see if there is any danger nearby. The Khajiits ears continuesly seems to scan the area for nearby threads. But there seems nothing in sight as she gets closer to the Blue light. Carefully with every of her steps, she makes her way towards the entrance. She sees nothing then a stair leading down into the unkknown dungoen. She concentrates but was only hearing the hoaling wind that sings through the crack of the ruines stones. Elia takes a deep breath as her soft paws are walking down the stairs. The Dust of thousand years are just gently squirled up by her steps as it seems like that she is hovering over the ground.

The ruins gets darker and darker with every step and soon she has to turn of one of her torches. Pretty quickly she mades it into the inner of this cold and lonely place and the dripping sound of water are echoing through the air. A moist and cold smell is filling the Khajiits nostrils as she keeps going on. She takes special care about any traps that could have been laid, always ready to dodge in any direction if necessarry.

The face of Leila is running through Elias mind... She asked her for a book which should help her to control her Storm-Magic. The Khajiit wonders if she would get any luck. Usually such ruins with a entrance that dont got burryed form the ruins itself are actually plundered ages ago. But its worth a try she thinks to herself.

She keeps walking her way as she stumbles over a untouched chest. The heartbeat of Elia makes a little jump but she stays clam. She takes a carefull look for any traps before she even approachs the wooden cargo. When she was sure, that there is nothing to worry about, she trys to gently open the chest, which actually didnt worked... It was locked! Elia simply grins and swings her mace right where the lock is. It was a very simple and not really strong mechanism, everyone could see that... The chest jumps open after a loud crack. Dust is swirling arround and the Khajiits gets disapointed right away. Just some old iron plates and some clothings that even a hobo wouldnt wear anymore.

The Khajiit keeps going her way. It really seemed like that noone was in this dungeon for a while. She didnt even noticed any footprints on the dusty floor. She walks up and down, from one room to another, just to find alot of junk. "Ah.... this one just has no luck." She says to herself annoyed.

Suddenly, the Khajiit ears twitch. A squaky sound! Elia immediatly turns arround but she quickly notice that it was nothing more then a rat. "Phew... Elia was scared for a second." she says and giggles towards the rat. She steps closer towards the rat, which somehow didnt seems scared at all of the cat like lady. She take a close looks at the read when she is just 3 steps away from her. "What is it? Do you like to die?" she asks the rat confused. But Elia wasnt the type of person that kills innocent, not even a rat... as long there is no reason for. However, the Khajiit Lady is now only one step away from the rat and still, it wasnt moving. Elia takes a weird look on the rat but couldnt notice any special patterns or something like that. She knees down and ask "Whats wrong with you?" as the rat suddenly starts to move. Elia gets up and looks after her and when the rat was a few foots away, she turns arround and looks after her... It seemed like that the rat wanted Elia to let her follow her, so Elia does.

Elia was sceptical and confused, but also very curious of this unique rat. She hopes that this isnt some weird trick so she carefully follows the 4 legged animal, searching once in a while for enemys. But still, this place must be lost for a while. After a good amount of time, Elia passes some bookcases, most of some are totally rotten. Waterdrops, falling stones and probably even a fire, mixed with time has shown its tooth and there is nothing more then dirt left over. Elia still follows the rat, seeing no seense in searching for any of those books. The rat leads the Khajiit arround another corner and suddenly, in a small niche, Elia notice a bookcase that actually past the time.

Amazed by the thought that this bookcase might be a few houndred years old, she takes one book out of the case and opens it up right away. But once more, luck wasnt on the side of Elia... As soon as a small breeze was touching the books paper, it falls apart into millions of dust particles. Elia sighs and takes another book, opens it up very carefully but it had no use. All of this has turned into dirt because of this to dry area... "By Mara! This one better goes home." she nearly yells as she once again hears a squaking. Annoyed by that useless rat, she turns arorund and sees a wide open book right next to the rext whichs runes shimmers in the dark by the torchlight.

As Elia gets closer, the rat runs away and leaves Elia alone with the book. She inspectates the runes, but nothing seems familiar to her. A unknown langauge, written in unkown letters in a unknown dungeon. A cold breeze is rolling over the Khajiits fur. She closes the perfectly intact book and puts it into her bagpack. Then she just lefts the ruins after and outside, it is allready dark... If Leila can actually read this book?

THE END (for now)
