(A normal-looking logbook could be found somewhere about town... though it would sealed with a lock and enchantment.)

Old journal was lost. This one needed to get a new one anyways... Things get boring around town when he is off duty, so why the Oblivion not scribble on some pages?
Recent happenings... This one's Dominion service records were transferred and copied. He is now in the marines, rather than in naval operations. This one is not sure why they drafted him, but infantry is where most of the battles are fought, and traveling on ships will not be rare. This one will be given a few months on leave before they schedule this one for an officer's training.
The cubs, Mohan and Anjasi have started to lighten up after she left us. Once they are old enough, he will pass on his own knowledge and train them at an early age. Mohan asked something odd, also. He was asking about her and why she left. This one did not know how to respond, but the question was shocking? "Will she ever come back?" Remembering it gives him the chills...
It seems things have also progressed with the town's dilemma. This one did not hear much of it, just that things were found. He hopes he can kill the man who kidnapped those people and put us into even more stress... This one needs to get back to roving watch, and probably buy some supplies for the homestead.
