As with the previous letters, the note is pinned to the tree in the center of town, written in the same calligraphic handwriting. The parchment is flecked with blood.

So, the game has chanced! I must admit, I was growing bored, I had moved on to other ventures...but this...this was unexpected. You, firing your most prominent investigator? The fun has begun anew! Oh the fun I will have with these -new- investigators. It will be oh-so-entertaining to watch them stumble out, trying to find clues.
The male has bravado, I'll give him that. He doesn't want to admit defeat...maybe I'll force him to by the end of this all, yes?
