Account Name: @Sweet_Roll_Thief
Name: Emia, or Emmie, "Blackbird" Riverrun
Age: 26, young for a mer.
Race: Bosmer
Birthsign: The Thief
Sexual Orientation/Marital Status: Asexual, single
Flair: A lower lip piercing, black paint covering her upper arms, shoulders, and neck. Looks like a fairly normal Valenwood Bosmer. Though one might notice her K9 teeth have been filed to points.
Rumors: She seems a staunch Green Pact follower and has a lot of pride in the Bosmer people. She is wary of the Dominion, though generally operates on a "you don't mess with me, I won't mess with you" basis. She seems to be a traveling merchant.
Her alias, "Blackbird," is a name that may be tossed around now and again, around the Middens and Grahtwood to a few thieves and coves of ne'er-do-wells. She's a thief, though doesn't tend to plan complicated heists or the like. She picks off easier pray, pickpocketing and ransacking homes, especially of people she dislikes. When she's not thieving, she's delving in dungeons and looking for loot to sell at a much higher price. It seems the one thing Blackbird refuses to do for wealth is kill, because she feels it takes a lot less skill to rob a dead body than a live one.
Personality: Honest with her opinion, though not tactful. Will lie to keep herself out of trouble. Not looking to start trouble, but not well-mannered. Rough around the edges. Outspoken, cordial with potential customers. Skeptical and distrusting behind her giggly front. Rude and abrupt with people who instigate her. Not particularly bright, but good on her toes. Very skilled at what she does. She tends to try to talk her way out of things or bat her eyelashes when caught. The following phrase very much applies: "If you can't blind them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bullshit."

Emia Riverrun - Backstory
Emia is the only daughter of a rather large family of rangers and hunters, all of which sold meat and hides, or did leatherworking, to bring coin home for the family. Of her 5 brothers, her twin brother Erró, was closest to her. She found comfort in his support and brotherly care for her, especially when the Blacksap Rebellion tore her family apart. Some of her brothers joined the Blacksaps, while some of the others, Erró included, joined the Vinedusk Rangers. One went into hiding. It is for this reason that Emia doesn't necessarily trust or like the Dominon — because she partially blames its formation on the rift in her family. Though because her beloved twin brother is a Vinedusk Ranger, she tries to behave around them, or at least give them a less difficult time.
Before her family's rift, she grew up in a graht-oak hut just outside of Elden Root, and was a neighbor to Elsynia Nightwind. As little mer, the two would often play together. As they grew, so did their mischief. Emia and Elsy would often invoke the Rite of Theft, almost considering it a game to see how much they could get away with that was still covered under the Rite. Elsy would be the brains behind the operations, and Emia would be the skill. The pair often stole things, narrowly avoiding the law into their early teens. That is, until Elsynia moved to Auridon.
After her partner in crime moved away, she did what her family taught her to do — hunt and sell the meat and hides. Though she occasionally supplemented the income with selling off stolen objects in the Middens. Eventually she grew bored of "the family trade," and left her homestead. She became a traveling merchant, and occasional odd-job-runner, selling hides and miscellaneous "found" goods to people across Valenwood. She traveled as far north as Reaper's March, spending a little time in Woodhearth, Marbruk, and Veyln Harbor.
One day, on her travels, Emia came across an interesting man. She met him in Cormount, as she was looking for a hired caravan guard, for a single trip to Rawl'Kha. She had on her some expensive jewelry and goods (that she had "found"), and needed to sell it well away from Grahtwood. He accompanied her, and the pair fell in love on their journey. Though her hesitation towards relationships and the nature of her job pushed her to leave him. Once in Rawl'Kha, the two were going to spend the night there and head out again in the morning. Though, she left him in the dead of night, with a bag of coins for his pay and a beautifully carved bone pendant on a thin, gold chain in place of where she slept. His name was Lulan, and she never saw him again. It was the first and last time she ever had "real" feelings for someone.
She has since bought a small home in Cormount and uses it as her main residence, though she's often not home due to the wandering nature of her job. Her house is a windowless graht-oak hut on the outskirts of Cormount. It has a bone slat door behind the typical Bosmeri door hide, that is always locked. No key for the door exists, and the only way in is to pick the near impossible lock.
