Stepping Down as Officer

I'm afraid that I simply can't be a part of this officer base anymore.

For over a month now there's been several points of tension for me which I have kept to myself in hopes that things will get better, but things have only gotten worse. I'm not going to name names, I'm not going to point out what's wrong, but no amount of talking to people, no amount of sticking around and waiting is going to work.

Quite simply put, I don't want to be an officer anymore, as I haven't for a time, now. I stayed in due to my hopes that things would get better, but those hopes have been long dashed, and I refuse to be a part of this any longer.

I enjoyed serving as an officer with you; I've been an officer since we moved to Vulkwasten, but since then, things have changed drastically, and I can't abide that any longer, nor can I, in any sense of a right mind, abet it.

Farewell to you officers, it's been a good run, but goodbye.
