The incarceration.

K'y sits patiently in his cell watching the rain of Malabal Tor come and go. He waits for those who would follow him, and those who wish to know more, to come and speak, the cold yellow eye watching everything around him, pupil dilated to absorb all light it can. At times he hums to his self, a cheery tune despite the circumstances of his situation. The air around him cold and damp, the distinct scent of death hangs slightly mixed with the smell of soil and nightshade. The occasional wolf seen sanguinated just outside the cell, some bones and other fragments lie around the same place.




(( Seeing as I am really unable to jump in game for more than a few minutes at a time, I figure this would be a good way to still RP, Open to everyone.))

Firm, pounding steps seem to become more audible with each moment as the outside world seems to progressively dim in volume. These registered footsteps may seem to suggest some impending fear.

Instead, Lilinunta would clumsily fall near the door of the cell with a thud, followed by a winded "Ack!"

As she stands, she recomposes herself long enough to catch a glimpse into the interior of the cell. Noticing K'y, she backpedals a bit before approaching again with quiet mumbles; they would be largely incoherent.

"Uh..K'y?"

With a brief squint of her eyes, she continues to approach until she is at the edge of the cell.

"You are..uh. Still here?"

Grins mildly as the clumsy Altmer stumbles into his cell. "Miss Vulano, a pleasure to see you. Aye, still very much here. Wondering how many will turn their backs to me. Even after saving their lives." He remains unmoving and the frost hanging in the air seems to warm slightly. The cold yellow eye watching the Altmer studying her with feinted intrigue. "Not much to do in this cell I'm afraid, I wish I had a book or two from my collection."

Quiet mumbles emanate from Lilinunta as she nods; she seems to be attempting to take in every detail in his word, quickly blinking upon every resounding word. Her gaze seems to narrow, however, as he finishes speaking.

Within a moment, even her breathing seems to steady as she gives him a contemplative stare.

"K'y? Nobody trusts you. Kashya..she moved out. She was staying at that house you two uh.."
She pauses as she loses her wording, but quickly regains her composure within an instant.
"She told me everything before they went to Willowgrove. She is the Marshall now, alongside Thorn. She uh.."
She loses herself again.
"She expresses her hatred of you quite often."

He watches idly, keeping the dilated pupil on her. A look of confusion seems to display on his face. "What? She still thinks of me? Then I have failed in this aspect." The air seems to warm further, his disposition changes from false interest to worry. "Why? My plan was full proof. I did exactly as I had predicted. And so did she. But this is unforeseen. Do you distrust or hate me miss Vulano?" He changes to a warm smile.

Her wavering, nervous posture seems to be gradually shifting; as the conversation continues, she finally seems to settle into something more contemplative than wary. Her once nervous shifting has now relaxed, and she continues to respond to him.

"You are not her priority..she thinks on you as a novelty, nothing more."

Her expression shifts again; this time, it almost seems sad.

"Do I distrust you? Uhm. Aye. I do. Do I hate you..? Uh..no. I do not. I do not like your company, however; you seem to have..upset my sister. If you..dare harm her, I will erm..retaliate." She lowers her brow and gives him an attempt at a menacing glare before sighing and crossing her arms.

"She is focused on her own life, yet again; she has her priorities, and you will..not be a part of that."

The temperature drops again, and he changes subjects on the instant. "Would you be so kind as to do me a favor?"

Her tone shifts into its normally wavering pattern, and she leans in without much of an afterthought.

"I suppose..that depends. What do you need?"

He smiles, "A book from my collection, in my home, a black bound book should be sitting on the shelf, one of two. Bring it here, try not to read it. It's... Personal. And I would love to be able to see it again." He looks to the ceiling for a second. "One more thing if you could, there should be a imperial knife under the counter in the tavern of vulkwasten. When I struck that man that night the knife fell under there, it belonged to him take it to your sister for me. A proof of provocation."

With a heavy sigh, she quietly fidgets with the buckles on her glittering armour; the white plates seemed to reflect off of any exterior light with radiant gleams, only contrasted by the solid black leather padding.

"I think I can get you the books, but..what makes you think a knife would..prove anything?" She frowns and gives a mild shrug.

"Even if he were out to attack you..didn't you act first? Kashya..she said you had attacked first. A knife..that would not prove anything.."

In the distance, another set of footsteps approach. These steps resonate with firm, rhythmic thuds against the ground. As the volume of these steps grow closer, a familiar voice seems to echo from the road.

"Lili, what're you doing? Get over here!"

Lilinunta simply plants herself to the ground and shakes her head. "Wait..you're back from Willowgrove.." Although her brow quirks into something concerned, she stays there. "No! You need to let him out.."

"That damned fool deserves no mercy for his actions." Lilinunta remains in her location, unwavering. With a loud growl, Kashya approaches and attempts to pry her from her location. She doesn't move. As Kashya approaches, however, it may be noted that she is wearing nothing but a small skirt and bandaging; the bandages seem to cover the entirety of her left shoulder, and even trail down the left of her chest. It finally ends towards the back, at the end of the shoulder.

"Lili, you damned troll! Let's GO!" With one last pull, she finally manages to move Lilinunta. Only an inch, however. With an ever-deepening frown, Lilinunta points at K'y and begins to speak. "The sentence for murder is only one week! I've looked at that parchment..Kashya..!"

Kashya doesn't seem to be paying attention, but finally turns to glare at K'y; whole hatred seems to resonate from her stare as she lets out a barreling laugh. "YOU! Oh, Hircine bless me not to rip the very essence out of you from where you stand, and throw your dry cadaver down the cliff!"

Sitting there a amused look on his face as Kashya and Lilinunta argue. "So you see the fruits of their poison. You may be right Miss Vulano... Errr Lilinunta. I would still appreciate the favor if you could do so. And take it to the mages instead. Have them check for any enchantments or sigils that could indicate the group? And the other favor as well. I am fine staying here until then."

The amusement fades from his face and the temperature drops further. His pupil contracts as he stares right past the two, a cheery tune can be heard from him as he begins to hum.

Kashya proceeds to stand in front of Lilinunta as she speaks. "There will be no damned evidence. That was quite some time ago; Ran'dall and the others tend to keep the place clean, no doubt. It's gone."

With that, Kashya storms off; this leaves Lilinunta with a rather perplexed look flooding against her figure.

"I..do not know if I can do this. I mean..Kashya will eventually let you go..do you truly need to prove your innocence? She ah..has already discussed this in-depth, and has already agreed to discharge you of your service, regardless of whether or not you..uhm..did it with reason."

As the tune finishes, he cocks his head to the side, the first real movement hes made in hours. A loud crack his heard as he does this. "Hmm that felt nice, oh. If you insist, forget the blade, I'll ask someone else. But I would appreciate the book. Come to think of it, there should be a bottle of rum on the table near the shelf. Bring that too if you could be so kind."

Grim waits until the Vulano sisters leave before making his move. Once they do leave,if they do, the Argonian turned Khajiit makes his move and if able to get to K'y, he doesn't do anything illegal, instead, he sneaks K'y a bottle of brandy and then says

"Hi, K'y." With his usual goofy smile

Lilinunta gives a concerned expression before finally nodding and bolting off. "Uh. Fine..fine!"

In the background, Kashya can be heard shouting something incoherent to Lili, who gives a terrified whimper in response.

He snaps his gaze to the Khajiit as he approaches. "Who are you? I appreciate the liquor, but from an unknown I am skeptical." Extending a hand out through one of the bars he waits for the Khajiit to hand him the bottle.

"It's me, Grim. I had a soul transfer a while back. Never got to thank you for the rescue and sorry for not visiting sooner, I've been busy." Grim explainsexplains

Grim sits don't against the cell and drinks some catnip whiskey.

Eyeing the Khajiit with a degree of scrutiny he seems satisfied for the moment. Opening the bottle and taking a deep drink he turns to grim for a moment and says "A Khajiit body, seems the shadow scale made an interesting choice. None the less, how have you been?"

"Good and busy. I'm engaged to Ash and we're expecting, which is why Ryu probably picked a khajiit body. She loves kids. I also joined tthe mages guild. At first it was to control the affinity for magic I have now but now, being a mage seems cool." Grim explains.

Showing a degree of newly learned restraint, Grim doesn't ask K'y for any details about his imprisonment out of respect

Giving a brief nod K'y downs the last of the bottle, he stares into the bottom looking for the last drop. "Good good, I wish I could be there, but it seems the guard is bent on keeping me in here for a while. Tell me, what has transpired in my absence within the town. Has the watcher been busy?" A faint grin plays out on his face, and the ambient temperature seems to drop further.

The change in temperature doesn't phase him like it did when he was an Argonian. Instead he shrugs it off.

"Well hopefully your're out soon. I'd like my friends around. As for the town itself, I haven't heard anything about the watcher. Tigris left the guard, Mash and Thorn are marshalls now. Congrats to them. We went to Willowgrove for a bit due to a magical anomaly. There as an explosion that blinded Bethany and we got back recently." Grim explains and takes a drink. "While in Willow, Ash's long lost sister showed up and said sister joined the guard." He finishes.

Hefty footsteps accompany the volume of an ever-speaking forest around them; all at once, Lilinunta hurriedly reappears with a various bottle and a complete stack of tomes, journals, and other differing books. Glancing at the Khajiit, she gives a frightened flinch before shaking her head. "Tigrus is..was uhm.." She shakes her head. "He is..I am..glad he is gone-- not that I was..listening!" As she speaks, she pants roughly, as though she had been..sprinting.

"I--uh..I did not know which one to grab, so I got them all. Kashya has..destroyed the-- uh..destroyed the place, to say the..least. So..I had to go looking..I hope she didn't burn the ones you were looking for. Oh. And--And uh..I found this!" She holds up a large, stained bottle and tosses it into the cell with little regard. After this, she drops the tomes at her feet and begins shuffling through them until she finds a black book within the others; picking the book up, she slides it through towards K'y and begins going through the others.

"I--oh, uhm..I d- I uh..I went through the uh--I went through the tavern a bit, jus- just to check, yes? I didn't.." She merely shrugs and looks around with a dumbfounded expression. "I found n- no uh..I did not find a dagger, or blade, or.." She gives another shrug and frowns. "That..was weeks ago..maybe a mo- a uh..a month ago? Kashya came to- m' uh..Kashya came to me afterwards to sp.. uhm..speak on the issue. I..surely somebody has to-- uhm..surely, you'd know, things..don't last forever, especially.." As the volume of her voice fades into nothing, she gives a little sigh and proceeds to shrug for a third time. "Perhaps somebody took it..?"

Grim blinks due to not being sure she flinched. He doesn't say anything about her thoughts towards Tigrus, nor does he ask about the items. Instead Grim merely smiles.

"Hi, I'm Grim Shadowscae." Grim says calmly. "I'mI'm not in the middle of something am I? I can leave if necessary"

The grin becomes a smile as she hands him the black book, snatching it as quick as possible. "No mortal could ever burn these books. You have done a good thing Lilinunta. Grim you are fine, feel free to bear witness." As he says this he crack the tome open and begins mumbling as he reads it over. Speaking up briefly to pose a question. "I trust you didn't open this book yes?" A green haze falls from the book as he flips through the pages. Voraciously devouring the information inside stopping only to uncork the bottle to take a drink. The scent of copper drifts from the bottle's mouth, mingling in with the already peculiar odors in the air.

"So the magisters hunger finally bit back did it? Golden eye watches me well it seems. And Kashya destroyed the place did she? I trust that my armor is still there as are my swords?" He asks seeming enthralled with the book. He begins to speak again looking up from the book finally. "She already knew what I was capable of. She knew well enough, her reaction is disproportionate to my actions. I feel there is more to it than that. Grim I forgot to tell you congratulations, I hope you have many strong children. And if you wish to learn magicks without restrictions, come to me. And I will gladly teach you what they would not." He offers a smile, before turning his head down to the book again.

Smiles although a bit confused as to what's going on.

"Thanks. Me too in regards to children. Not sure if the magister was hungry or not but regardless, I wouldn't mind learning from you but it will have to be when I'm not so busy."

"Uhm..Gri- uh..hi. Hm- er, I'm uh..Li- I uh..L- I'm Lilinunta. And u- uhm. No; you're quite, er, alright."

Turning to the cell, Lilinunta gives the mer a seemingly confused glance and shakes her head.

"I do not follow. Nor do I--uhm..really believe your insistence. Be- uhm..besides..didn't you get trapped in tha- uh, that uh..Apocr- uh..Ap.. I uh..Apocrypha? If you- uh..got trapped in there, I.." She seems to be trying her best to speak, but gives a rather frustrated sigh instead of her usual anxious whimpers. "Agh..! I- If you got trapped..there, I..uh..doubt you can be capable of..a lot?" Despite her incredibly evident anxiety, she knocks the last few words off with a somewhat harsh sting in her tone.

"A physical body does not typically enter apocrypha, and since my portal was closed behind me, the barrier between Nirn and oblivion, and the distance It required a portal being opened on Nirn. Trapped means what it means I assure you. There was little choice in my time there. You had said the paper only mentioned murder? Interesting.." He trails off, keeping his nose buried in the book. His free hand clenches into a fist for a moment as he crosses a line in the book.

Gimmick blinks and pales as he suddenly remembered that he has to be somewhere.

"K'y I just remembered that I have a few jobs I have to do. I'll visit later. If you need any thing, let me know."

K'y makes a small grunt in note of Grims departure, fixated on this one line in the book. He hasn't budged an inch nor turned the page in what seemed like ages. "Rebirth." He mutters.

Grim leaves, still kind of confused.

Lilinunta gives a somewhat confused expression before turning her head back towards the road. It seems as though her attention seems to be fading elsewhere.

"H- what? Oh, uh..yeah, aye. Mhm." She seems to be walking off for a moment, but finally stops after a few steps and just looks around.

A cloaked figure waits for Lilinunta to leave. Once she's gone he lowers his hood, revealing Servos Dres. Servos Dres bows before Kisven.

"Master, I've come to bust you out of here. We have safe houses and everything all set up."

K'y slams the book shut at the sudden appearance of his adopted son. "My boy, that would defeat the point. There is however something else you can do for me. I need the blood of a lycan, and my black gem housed in the staff in my home. Ask Lilinunta over there to show you the way to my home. I will not leave until I have accomplished what I set out to do. Then the real work will begin. Now quickly, set off and gather my requests."

"Of course father. Anything you command." Servos bows and looks at the Vulano sister. "You heard the master. Show me to his home." He orders.

Lilinunta gives the man a rather upset frown before shaking her head. The mer seems evidently discouraged by something, but still remains upright; despite this, she's shaking like a leaf.

"N- uh, no. Whatever- he, that doesn't sound good." She points down to K'y and shakes her head. "I'm not do- uh, I'm not doing anything without uh...consent! From--"

"Shut up." In an instant, Kashya seems to have returned next to Lilinunta's side, pointing at Servos. "You're not very discrete, in full consideration. Furthermore, I will have your damned eyes gouged and your withering corpse set ablaze should you dare 'command' my sister to do anything." Moving past the rather intolerable man, Kashya pulls a set of keys from her belt and pushes it into the lock of the holding cell; after a firm click, she opens the door and waves K'y off.

"Get out of this damned cell; you've been in here far longer than you should have, and I am running out of free cells. Take your idiot accomplice with you. 'Safehouses.' Safehouses, truly? The idiot set up -safehouses- for the great Kisven?" She takes a firm look at Servos and rolls her eyes. "Quaint fool." turning back to K'y, she gives another quick wave of her hand. "Get out of my damned cells, K'y. Now. And I don't want to see you trying to perform any sort of ritualistic acts, or I -will- banish you from town--on account of your vampirism. This is your only warning." She pauses a moment before adding. "If I hear anything about lycans' blood or soul gems, I'll have your pathetic head on a pike."

"Very well Vulano be for a future warning, be careful as to who threaten. It will always come back to bite you." Servos warns and then looks at K'y. "Father, I am ready to leave when you are." Servos states.

Lassi glances down from the tree she was perched high in. "Uh, I don't mean to cut in, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to threaten the marshall of the town guard with death!"

She jumps down and lands on the slanted roof of the cell, sliding gracefully to the ground. "So, Kashya, you going to arrest the Dunmer?"

Looks up at Lassi. "It wasn't a threat. More of a piece of advice. Now if you're done here, I'm sure my my father is eager to leave."

K'y stands, motioning Servos to grab the books Lilinunta had been kind enough to gather. "It seems my point has been made, threats and vehement hate. Live in denial and it will undo you dear Kashya. It is not kind to make demands, Servos. Requests are far better to achieve a goal, Miss Lilinunta, I look forward to speaking with you further. Try to keep your sister safe, she has a good heart, but a shattered mind. Far too conflicted by her violent urges and ideal way to keep the people safe."


With that he grabs both black books, and the bottle waiting for Servos to grab the rest. As he steps from the cell the ambient temperature drops further a fell northern wind seems to follow him. And with it the distinct scent of nightshade follows.

As she moves to recollect her keys, she gives a rather exhausted sigh at the statement brought on by Servos, and attentively turns to respond with a brow raised. "You and your damned 'parent' are both so gods damned cliche." She gives a condescending countenance and proceeds to stare directly at Servos while waving her hands around in a facetious manner. "Ooohh, I'll come back to bite ye'! Yes, I will! Dare ye' come attack my great father!" With a heavy scoff, she takes a moment to pull her keys tightly onto her belt before Lassi's introduction. With a quick glance, she ultimately turns around to view the Imperial with a more lucid observation.

"Arrest? No, not yet. I'm giving these two the opportunity to leave, so long as they leave the damned town alone with their magick shite and oh-so-ominous personality away from anyone who would find it uncomfortable. Simply put, I just want them gone from the town; otherwise, I'd have that mer's arse rotting in a warded cell."

Disregarding Servos's second comment, she turns back to K'y and narrows her eyes.

"Hircine's rarest mercy, shut it. You sound like every other cocky shite that runs into this town thinking he's going to found an empire on the decaying debris. Unfortunately for you, the town is fine. There's no need for a political avenger. If I wanted to be a damned stubborn arse, I'll do so. And you? You will stand by, and watch. Or, you will leave. But do not interfere. You are not part of the guard. You have no official presence. You are a citizen--no, a spectator, at best, and if I get as little as one complaint from your behavior, I will banish you and your little follower there." She points at Servos and shakes her head.

Meanwhile, Lilinunta had been standing there with what was likely the most flustered and baffled face she'd ever composed.

Kashya continues, however. "I am not conflicted. My ideals are sound as any other. Now, get out of my damned view."

With a firm roll of the eyes, she points back towards town and stares at the two. "You've got your house. Use it. Stay in it as often as possible, if you'd dare desire to even stay here."

"Of course, my apologies." Servos says.

The dark elf gathers the rest of K'y's things and will follow K'y once he leaves.

With a small grin, the copper-skinned Imperial watches the two of them rather smugly, resting one hand on her hip and cocking them--probably just for show, she wasn't known to be one to act feminine.

"Seriously though, all these smug little dicks...I'm pretty sure if they tried for a takeover we'd have their heads by sundown."

Giving neither a thought or sound to anything being said he sets off reading the book silently.

Giving a sound glance towards Lassi, Kashya merely shakes her head and brushes a hand back towards town.

"This is damned shite."

Although she doesn't seem to say much, Lilinunta approaches Kashya with a hesitant stare before mumbling something, to which Kashya responds with a grunt.

"There isn't much more to do here; I just hope they stick to their own damned agenda, that doesn't pertain to the community. I've got more prevalent concerns in regard to crime; they're really not among them." With that, she starts for the road, followed by a seemingly lightheaded Lilinunta.

Satisfied with the shots she'd managed to get in, Lassi leaped back up onto the top of the cells and scaled a nearby tree, pulling the visor of her helmet down and shutting her eyes, quite content with the branch she was resting on.
