My ESO @name is @MaFuri

My main character is Akh’Ri-dar, make Khajiit at the age of 29.

Physical Description

Akh’Ri-dar is medium height Khajiit with bright green eyes, dark-brown fur and a bit lighter strips. He has brown long beard and strange hairstyle, which looks like a bird nest.

Backstory

Khajiit family moved from Torval to Woodhearth in 2E 561 due to Knahaten flu epidemic. His parents had a high position in Torval merchant guild, but their lives were more valuable than any money to them. As they reached Woodhearth, they started an inn in the Khajiit square on their savings. Everything went nice until once his father Ri’Mai-rad rode to Marbruk to collect some special reagents, but never returned. People in Marbruk say they have not seen Ri’Mai-rad or even his cart that day. After the mysterious disappearance khajiit mother Va’Shahir forever became dismal, sad and closed to others, even to her son, she began to use moon sugar to lower the pain of loss. When her body got used to the sugar, she switched to skooma. His mother spent almost all their money on the drugs, Akh’Ri-dar couldn’t handle this anymore, he sold the inn, half of the money he gave to Va’Shahir, on the other half he bought a sword, leather armor and a bow.

Khajiit used to have sword singing lesions with Seref Tazihir – redguard traveller and fighter, while they lived in Elsweyr. Akh’Ri-dar started to offer mercenary services, illegally of course! He had made great success acting stealthy, quiet. But one day he made a deal, which has changed his life. Khajiit met a high elf in Velyn Harbour. The elf didn’t mention his name, though made an offer… Akh’Ri-dar was asked to assassinate one of the richest Valenwood Maecenas – Almidion for unbelievable amount of gold. The bargain was made.

Almidion had to attend meeting in Silvenar, and Akh’Ri-dar knew that. On the road to the city khajiit put a trap the carriage to stop. He thought that one arrow and the award is in a pocket! Akh’Ri-dar hid in the leaves of the high oaks of the Valenwood, as soon as carriage stopped, he released the bowstring. That moment the felt lighting hit and fell off, carriage defenders saw him before the stop as he understood. Khajiit was rounded and enforced to surrender with no chance to get dry of the water… Akh’Ri-dar was sentenced to the death as they reach the Silvenar. Khajiit was thinking that was the end. In Silvenar he was put in the temporal prison with other captives before the sunrise.

At the night he was woken up by the sound of cage next to his opening, Dunmers were saving their friends. Khajiit yelled to get their attention, that was his one and the only chance to escape. The Dunmers laughed at him, no one wanted to save a khajiit. Akh’Ri-dar begged, promised to be useful, somehow it worked. Dunmers took the cat with them. They escaped from the city and moved to the north-west, where the mers left their ship. Akh’Ri-dar was saved by the pirates of the Vvardenfell, the Morrowind part on the other side of the world. They got on the ship and headed on the edge of the world – to the Necrom city.

The captain liked Akh’Ri-dar, because the cat told everyone that he used to be a cook in the inn. Dunmers trusted him and for the next months of sailing the worked with the ship-cook as an assistant. The captain and the cook were the only mers, who at least were neutral to the khajiit. The crew was not exited sailing with such creature as Akh’Ri-dar was, though no one bothered him, because of the captain. One night khajiit heard a crew member speaking with captain, a pirate convinced the captain to sell Akh’Ri-dar to the slavery as they reach Necrom. Khajiit understood – he need to get off that cursed shit. When they sailed to the sea-borders of Morrowind, they faced an Argonian frigate border-patrol. Pirate ship had to turn to the land. Khajiit thought – that was the only chance! At night he made his way to the backside of the ship, where the boats were kept. Akh’Ri-dar sat in one and rowed as fast as he could. At the evening he got to the city on the south-east of Morrowind – the Tear. Khajiit has not ever heard about these pirates again.

In the Tear Akh’Ri-dar found friends very fast, the people on the edge of the world were kind and friendly. Khajiit stayed at the inn in the centre of the city, where he got employed as a bartender. After years of mercenary work, sailing with pirates and fighting for his life Akh’Ri-dar enjoyed peaceful life, he finally achieved. Khajiit worked there for more than 6 months until one day to his hand got a leaflet. There was written about a bounty for one mers head, Akh’Ri-dar couldn’t refuse from easy money. He tracked down the victim and performed the job without any issues. The customer was an Argonian Pad-shei Pemesh. He gave cat the award and made another offer… Pad-shei had an idea of forming a mercenary guild and he needed some assistance with it. Despite the fact that Khajiit didn’t trust the Argonian, he agreed.

The guild had an unexpected success! They made prefect profit! Akh’Ri-dar was drowning in gold. After only a few months of existence they got 20 professional warriors in their lines. One of them was a tall Khajiit with bloody-red eyes, ash-grey fur and long dark braids. His name was Vashrandru. Of course Akh’Ri-dar and the khajiit became friends! They were the only Khajiit on the south-east of the Morrowind.

Everything went excellent until one day Pad-shei made the worst mistake in his life. Argonian insulted House Hlaalu somehow. They guild was razed to the ground, everyone was hunted down. Akh’Ri-dar, Vashrandru and 3 warriors ran away from the city and hid in some random tomb on their way. They made a small camp inside by the entrance.
Akh’Ri-dar took 2 guys and decided to go deeper to see if there is some gold or food, leaving Vashrandru and the last guy to guard the entrance. They went deeper and deeper until they reached a big empty hall with only coffin in the middle. It was golden with diamonds, sapphires and many other jewels. Akh’Ri-dar demanded to take them off, that was the mistake. As they touched the coffin, the flame of the torch extinguished. Akh’Ri-dar raised the fire back, all the saw was one of his guys being legless. The khajiit panicked, took the nord on his back and run to the entrance speechless. They run as fast as they could. As he reached the camp he didn’t need to explain anything, Vashrandru commanded to leave immediately. They were almost at the entrance when they heard a hellish speech from the back. They turned their heads and saw something with long, narrow neak, big, sagged eyelids, 5 tongues and spider body. It called Vashrandru with two-voice pronounciation. Akh’Ri-dar left the nord to the creature and they run away. Vashrandru and Akh’Ri-dar were the only who made it alive.

They used their remaining gold to get as far as possible from the Morrowind. They sat on the passage to Senchal, the city on the south-east of Elsweyr. Akh’Ri-dar thought that no one remembers his crimes, but he was met by the guards as they stepped on the ground of Elsweyr. Akh’Ri-dar and Vashrandru split forever and never saw each other again. Khajiit was not sentenced to death, he was taken and closed in the prison of Southpoint, a city on the south of Valenwood.

Sitting in the cage, alone, without even a one ray of the sunshine, Akh’Ri-dar had one and the only entertainment – to think. He felt how the power leaves his body, he felt that he was becoming weaker and weaker with every day spent in there. His mind was leaving his body. Akh’Ri-dar lost the count of the days. He begged the guards to give him any book to read, to keep his mind sharp, but they didn’t even listen to him.

One day Khajiit was moved from one jail to other. New one had a window at least and this small detail changed his life… Akh’Ri-dar woke up in the middle of night and saw the two moons in the dark sky. The laid on the floor of the cage and looked to the sky. At one moment he thought about the stories he heard when he was just a cub, one of them told about how the two moons protect the race of Khajiit. Akh’Ri-dar thought might be if he prays, it will work. He sat in meditation pose and prayed for 3 days. The cat was despaired, he asked the two moons to get him out of there, he promised to change his life. Next morning the guards came to him and took him to the prison master, who told him that one old Khajiit woman came to them and payed his fines. Akh’Ri-dar met his mother as he left the prison.

Va’Shahir told him that when he left her at the Marbruk, she decided to change her life, to quit skooma. She worked as a tailor for all these years. All earned money she spent to release her still beloved son. Akh’Ri-dar had no words - he couldn’t explain how grateful he was to his mother, to the moons. They headed home, to the Marbruk, but his mother didn’t make it. Akh’Ri-dar buried Va’Shahir by the walls of Marbruk.

Khajiit decided to serve his land to return his depths to the Two Moons. Today Akh’Ri-dar is traveling through the lands of Aldmeri Dominion and gives a hand to anyone, who deserves it.
