It has come to the attention of the Town Guard that a lack of structural integrity is strikingly evident. This is not fault of one specific individual; rather, it is a general lack of knowledge as to how an organization must be defensively constructed, with attempt to appeal this through the substitution of mass force and trust in the undisputed knowledge of hired guards. In an effort to adapt to the persistent threats of Vulkwasten, however, the Guard has agreed to begin hosting weekly training sessions.
The goal of weekly training sessions is to build the foundation of a town guard's knowledge in regard to the aspects of law, combat, and the application of legal power. By holding these training sessions, a guard will be afforded the opportunity to hone his or her knowledge within these sets through a variety of learning experiences: These sessions are built to house the ideals of lecture, physical example, and practical application. Upon completion of a training session, a guard is expected to apply this knowledge in the workplace; in that, he is expected to perform with a concise knowledge of the training applied during prior teaching. Ultimately, the guard is expected to perform with a more practical sense of his or her occupation.
ANY upcoming training sessions will be dated and listed on this parchment; if a guard is absent during training, they are expected to research the week's lesson individually, if applicable. If this is not applicable, then the guard is expected to speak to a Marshal or Major, who may address the lesson privately with the guard.

Guards will be formally introduced to the Town Guard. After an introduction, guards will be given a personal copy of the Town Rules, to which they are expected to memorize and hold in close value. If any questions are present regarding the town rules, they may be answered by a superior. After detailed explanation, Special Departments within the Guard will be explained in further detail. Guards will, likewise, be allowed to question anything regarding Departments.

Guards will be given a brief tour of the Guard facilities, in order to gain a better understanding of the work area. A combat training session will be held, if time and resource allows. GUARDS WILL BE ASSIGNED SHACKLES AND KEYS.

Cancelled due to wild Argonian sightings nearby.
