New Guard Marshal Needed

It'll be rather simple, both OOC and IC. If you have a character that is interested, then I will be surveying them, and you, until I leave in July. The title of Marshal will be given to your character via the Council upon Kashya's departure, if your character is deemed capable of the task. This will be determined in a variety of ways.

• Activity - This is plain and simple. You're not going to be considered if you're only on once a week. As a Guard Marshal, you are expected to be online regularly, with quick capability of tasking and solving problems. Kashya was neither of these, but damnit. She was at least active.
  
  This doesn't only account for OOC player activity. Your character must be an active one. Not some alt character that you'll be using once a month.
  
  
• Legal Capability - How well does your character act, IC, when solving legal issues? If someone is performing assault within the tavern, will your character act with a steady head and hand, or are they going to rush in and try to slather the criminal with a bear hug and two daggers in the eyes? If your answer is the latter, perhaps your character needs a bit of anger management classes. That's just wrong.
  
  
• OOC Administration - Notice how I try to keep the Vulkwasten Town Guard roster as neat and clean as I can? Yeah. You'll be in charge of managing that. While you can just use everything from the roster I wrote, you're still required to have a thorough understanding of the english language. In other words, your roster can't look like this:
  
  "the town gard is a cool grup that wants to do stuff and protctt the town"
  
  I will personally duct tape your hands together to prevent you from typing anymore.
  
  
• Attitude - Don't be like Kashya, IC. She's insane. She's unstable. She's a lycanthrope. And she's your current Town Guard Marshal. While it does put a neat little twist on things to have a completely bat-crazy Nord Altmer as the Town Guard Marshal, it won't quite cut it for the replacement we're looking for. Kashya's job performance was hindered due to her disabilities, and it's going to hit her hard in the weeks before her departure.

Uh. Plain and simple? Military business. I'm going to Basic Training around July 5th for the Army, and I'll be gone until September 15th. After that, however, I go to AIT (Advanced Individual Training), where I will be stationed at a fort for approximately twenty-two weeks. While I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get online during the weekend in those twenty-two weeks, I'll be dead during the actual week.

Truthfully, with all these loose friendships I've made in the half-year I've been active, I'm going to be extremely, extremely upset to go. Every single person I've RPed with here represents one more little story I've gotten to add to my collection over the course of the year, and I hate the thought of leaving you guys. Even if I know practically none of you personally, with the exception of perhaps one or two, you're not excluded. You're all just about the only group of people I'm able to withstand, much less actually enjoy being around. I really enjoy being around you guys. All of you. Having the ability to come to you all after work has been my stress-relieving outlet since I first joined the guild, and I really do hope all of you are still around by the time I get back. Stranger or not, I'm calling you friend and we're friends, damnit.
