A lot of officers started discussion on how the guild is on a "steady decline" in activity and RP. Here were the issues we were able to come up with and the possible fixes. We'll discuss further this Tues at the officer meeting, and will hopefully begin to incorporate the new ideas by then.
Priority One - Member Growth. 10 New members by August 1st.
I. Member growth must include the introduction of new members. There is a spoken expectation of acquiring ten (10) new members by August 1st.
II. New officers will be sought out through the list of both new and existing members. This will also be achieved through the introduction of a "Senior Member" rank, who will provide aid to the officers on the occasion of roleplay events, among anything not yet listed.
III. A list of weekly guild necessities will be posted at officer meetings, to establish and prioritize the current needs of the Guild.
Priority Two - Faction development/encouraging members new and old to join factions.
I. Encourage members, new and old, to participate in faction events so that they may experiment with the possibility of taking part in, helping with, and even leading a potential or existing faction. Encouraging the participation of faction events can help a member in their attempt to contribute to the guild.
II. As a unit, the Guild officers will scout potential senior members and officers, so that the extra hands can be used to evenly spread out the workload and exponentially decrease stress within the officer rankings.
III. Encourage the hosting of faction events to create more opportunities in relation to faction RP. Existing factions will continue to create and host their respective events to draw the attention of potential members.
IV. Address the responsibilities of Faction leaders. Confirm that they understand the duties of a faction leader; they must attend the first portion of the Officers' Meeting to allow for effective communication, unless time zone constraints or other work-related tasks interfere. A persistent failure to communicate any changes will result in a reevaluation of leadership ability.
