Characters can use this board to post a mission/job/quest they want mercenaries to complete. You don't have to be a mercenary to do a job, but if you are registered as one int he Rats of Fortune, your character will get extra coin for jobs done. (Actual game gold)

Post a job below with details and information ICCLY.
To Claim a job, quote the job posted and reply "So-in-so has claimed this job."
Once a job is completed, post or edit that it was completed and who it was completed by.

Mercenaries of the jungle!

This one has many reports of a route with roaming traders going missing. She suspects banditry, and has personally lost business from such nonsense. She can not stand for this! Nor can her coffers. Please, end this threat and kill these bandits or whatever is causing the problem and she will reward you with a bulk of 5,000 coins.

She expects proof the problem was solved to be compensated.

Reports of a horrendously smelling creature that has taken roost near the waterfalls south of Vulkwaston. As violent as it smells, too. Rumors among travelers say it looked like a man-bird, locals say 'werevulture'. This one does not care what it is, she wants it dead.

Overview: The Wood Orc clan in Jathsogur along with a few final remnants of the Hound's followers are currently in the possession of some proprietary information the Dominion would like retrieved.

Task I:

Date: TBD (To Be Determined)
Task Type: Scouting
Task Location: Jathsogur, Malabal Tor - Meeting by the central tree in Vulkwasten
Limit of Attendees: None - As long as ability to scout is unhindered

Task Description: In the interest of making retrieval of the information as swift as possible, there will be an initial scouting mission for the purposes of identifying the current location of said proprietary knowledge, and possible impediments, (traps, enchantments, enemy forces, so forth). Impact on the stronghold is to be minimal. In the event of unavoidable conflict, force is permitted.

Payment: Negotiable

Task II:

Date: TBD (To Be Determined - Suitable time given for post-analysis of Task I)
Task Type: Infiltration and Retrieval of Documents
Task Location: Jathsogur, Malabal Tor - Meeting by the central tree in Vulkwasten
Limit of Attendess: None - As long as coordination efforts are not impacted

Task Description: Enact infiltration as determined by the scouting mission and available personnel. This could include; distractions, multiple teams, enchantment dispelling, etc.
Enemy casualties still to be minimized - this is not an assault on the stronghold, it is an infiltration.

Payment: Negotiable
