Dominion Internal Affairs - Official Report: Menelin Bluebrook

On the 1st of Sun's Height, Fredas, Defense Minister Menelin Bluebrook was placed under confinement in her office on Alinor under suspicion of the distribution of military secrets and embezzlement of money. Initially, she was not to be allowed to exit the room in which she had been confined, though gradually allowed freedoms--albeit under heavy guard as the investigation continued.

The investigation commenced upon an attack in a popular seafood restaurant near the wharf in the western district of Alinor involving the Minister. Due in part to a series of false reports fed to Internal Affairs, Minister Bluebrook was placed under lockdown in her office.

Each lead fed to the office of Internal Affairs turned up initially true, though more thorough investigation revealed the reports to be fabricated just below the surface. With these revelations, Minister Bluebrook was allowed several privileges over her two week confinement.

As the false leads and reports continued in a heavy influx to our investigators, a separate investigation was opened with the Dominion Sector of Investigation. Only days after this investigation was opened, the false information was traced to an information broker, [redacted], who has been under heavy scrutiny for suspicion of altering and selling Aldmeri Dominion records and reports.

At this time (9th of Sun's Height, Loredas), Internal Affairs closed their investigation, released Minister Bluebrook from custody, and turned the case over to the DSI.
