Flair: Has many little pockets sewn into her clothing designed to conceal gold in and prevent it from making noise, making it easier to earn more coin until she deposits her earnings. Also has several pouches around her belt, some containing tools of her trade, others gold, and some deterrents from potential pickpocketers such as itching powder. Sometimes she wears a backpack full of "trade goods".
For a more casual look, when not hiding her condition, she likes to lounge about in looser clothes, but keeps a bandoleer for holding tools of the trade.

Personality

Daro'via, as the name suggests, shows many of the traits of a natural thief. She rarely forms personal attachments, prefers to stay in the corner of buildings so as to not be caught off guard, and has an insatiable obsession with collecting, hoarding, and storing gold, sometimes legally. However, she doesn't have a flair for flashy clothes or fancy weapons, mostly due to the fact that she often ends up losing track of her gold caches.

Daro'via can be social when she needs to be, though often for ulterior motives, usually to earn more shiny, shiny gold. She knows little in the way of social tact, but makes up for that weakness with practiced stealth, sharp claws, and sharper daggers. That's not to say she's bloodthirsty, simply that fear and pain are powerful motivators when things go sour.

Post vampirism, Via feels more of a sense of responsibility to keep herself out of trouble due to Dominion laws, and has sought a sort of refuge in the community due to the town's more lenient rulings against vampires.

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Daro'via was born in the sands of Elsweyr and had lived there all her life until she discovered the alluring sheen of gold coins. Now she's been wandering about trying to collect as much as she can.

Background

Daro'via was raised like any other cub on a farm. Nothing interesting happened to her in her entire life. Her family lived happily enough, their crops grew well enough, and the nearby village was operating well enough. It wasn't until she journeyed to the village for the first time to sell crops that she found her one true love. Alluring, beautiful, gleaming like Jone and Jode, she could not pull her eyes away from the sight. She sat there staring at the gold coin in her hand and knew what she wanted out of life.

Once she had gathered enough coin by skimming profits from her family's farm she set out for the city. She didn't care which one, just someplace she could earn even more coin, but Via quickly learned how hard it can be to make coin, and worse, how hard it is for her to spend it. On her second night in the city she started neurotically wandering out into the wild to bury even insignificant sums for fear of having her coin purse stolen, and often forgot not only where the coin was buried but that she had hidden it away in the first place.

Via spent several nights out on the street after not being able, or not wanting to, pay for a bed at the local inn before finding inspiration in the form of a kind old Altmer. She invited the young Khajiit woman to stay the night in her home, and Via accepted after some coaxing. Alone in the guest room that night, Via stared at the various decorations in the room; silver candlesticks resting on the dresser, decorative plates hung on the wall, and a portrait of two young Altmer framed in ornate fashion. The next morning the kind Altmer awoke to find these things missing, along with the panther-like woman.

Two years passed between now and then. Daro'via learned to stalk her prey from the shadows, how to outsmart the locks that protect homes and valuables, how to remove a coin purse from a belt without making a sound, and had the stench of a prison cell burn into her nostrils. But despite shortcomings and personal issues Via triumphs in her own way, inching closer and closer to amassing great wealth whether she realizes it or not. All she cares about is that euphoric joy of staring into a gold piece her hands have not yet touched.

**Updated to reflect progression to vampirism.**
