ESO @SKDIDDZ
Name: Nigel Thornberrius
Nigel grew up in a dull place where nothing ever happened. He longed for adventure and knowledge of the world of Tamriel. One day, a merchant came through his small village. Nigel was so excited he forgot his meager bag of gold on his chair. He ran out and greeted the merchant, perusing over all her items in wonder, when one item in particular caught his eye; a book. Reaching to the empty spot where his bag of gold generally hang, he discovered what we the reader already knew would happen (yeah 4th wall breaks). He started walking away, his shoulders slumped, when the merchant caught him and said "little one, what is your name?" "Nigel Thornberrius" he replied. "You seem fascinated with my wares, and I've been looking for some help around the cart, how about you come work for me. I can get you all the books you could ever read." Nigel agreed in excitement and ran home to tell his mother. After some quick goodbyes, he ran back out to meet the trader and be on their way.
He went all across all across Tamriel, trading for every baubel and book he could find, and eventually made some decent gold. He grew very fond of the trader, as she treated him as more of a son than his real mother did, and they became very close.
They decided to make a trip out to Khanarthis Roost, since the trader had heard it was a beautiful place. They packed up the cart and headed on their way. Stopping to rest at night, the two set up camp near a river, knowing the sound of the water flowing would get them to sleep faster despite their excitement. When he awoke, he was tied up to a post with a nasty headache. He was groggy and could barely make out the figures a few feet in front of him. Bandits. By the time he had fully come-to, they had left the camp with their cart and horse. Looking around, he saw the body of his friend, the trader. She was always known to put up a fight, but this time she had picked the wrong fight. To this day, memories of what he saw in his groggy half-sleep make his blood boil whenever he sees a bandit, and will furiously attack them without hesitation.
To fulfill his friends last wish, he decided to continue on to Kanarthis Roost, hoping to clear his mind of all this, and maybe find a new job. Once on the boat, he couldn't rest. He tossed and turned but could not sleep. He went above deck and tried to catch some night air, hoping that would help. Then, a large wave rocked the ship, sending him overboard. However, when he hit the water, he didn't feel wet. He felt...cold. Looking around, he was in a jail cell, filled with bones. He had lost everything, including his map of Tamriel which he always carried because he was horrible at directions and didn't know anywhere in Tamriel without it (story point to say I don't know where anything is :) ). Here starts the next chapter of his story.

Race: High Elf
Age: 42
Male

Desc.
Short skinny armed, skinny legged man with a large skinny head, red hair and a big nose. Likes to say "Smashing" and has a thirst for knowledge. He wears medium-heavy armor, because a wild animal attack is always something that could happen. He prefers two handed weapons, preferably staffs, because they can double as very effective back scratchers.

Why I'm Here: I was born to a poor family in the Dominion's borders. I travel because I enjoy learning new things about Tamriel.

*Hope you guys like this. I wrote the backstory pretty quickly but it's much like other backstories I've written for D&D and Deadlands characters. I'm very excited to try out rp-ing in ESO, as I've never done it here before. Thanks for letting me join you guys!
