Velyn Union Event Series I

[10/29/2016] Event I - The Mer Named Minjua - Through sheer willpower and pure chance, Minjua successfully led the group of thieves into the heart of Vulkwasten, where the loosely organized group was tasked to steal six kegs of rotmeth from the tavern storerooms. Only successfully stealing two, Harimar Rosiartius was met with failure as the rope of the pulley securing the kegs to the balcony snapped, tossing a barrel of sickly-smelling rotmeth to crash on the ground around the three Argonians--Shen, Lyxcess, and Taseva--near the ground. Despite the alerting crash, all parties escaped from the town before locals could inspect, leaving no trace of their existence apart from a broken pulley on the ground and a shattered barrel of rotmeth for the Town Guard to inspect.

As all available parties returned to Minjua at the carriage, they would be intercepted by Bellicose, who would knock Minjua out and load her onto the back of the carriage, offering the only warning to the group: no further jobs would be performed in Vulkwasten at the consent of Minjua. After paying each of the thieves for their work, the cat-masked mer rode off into the sunset with a covered wagon, filled with two large kegs of rotmeth, an unconscious Bosmer, and the promise of more work, personally provided by Bellicose.

[11/05/2016] Event II - A Tale of Two Thieves -


After a heated debate between Minjua and Bellicose in the Velyn Harbor Outlaws' Refuge, the two settled on a compromise as the Defts arrived for more work. Presenting the opportunity, Bellicose explained the predicament, as well as the solution, to the problem she had been facing: While Minjua had been eager to continue her assault on Vulkwasten's rich, Kashya insisted on stealing from the market stalls of Baandari. Proposing a tally to count preference, the Defts chose Bellicose's route: Stealing from the Market stalls in Baandari. As the group arrived in Baandari, they immediately took to stealing from the local stalls with both immense success, and overwhelming failure. After capturing a net worth of 3,650 Drakes in stolen items, the group set to return to the Refuge, only to be ambushed by a group of thirteen Bosmeri Banditos. After being shot in the leg, Bellicose lost her balance and was consequently stripped of her satchel'o'coin, landing near the treeline. Confronted by a unique Bedazzled Bosmeri Bandito by the name of Ganan, the group attempted to vainly protect the packed-to-the-brim satchel of coin. It would be futile, however; using his level 99 agility skill and godly rolls, Ganan effortlessly swept through the hail of arrows, Nordic shields, and Khajiiti blades to swipe the satchel up and dart into the woodline, using the aide of magick to cloak themselves and escape with little interference, aside from one lone, rookie bandit, which quickly fell at the talons of Harimar's shield and sword.
