Personality
At first glance, Sisanda appears rather quiet and is generally shy until she gets to know you. She's young and intelligent, with some tendency towards impulsiveness, especially when she's on her own. She's insecure about her physical appearance and sometimes might stay in the background or off to the side, so that she doesn't draw attention to herself. She has a generous and caring nature, often seeking to help those around her especially if they appear to be in need. She loves animals and being outdoors, especially in wooded areas. She likes to read and write, has a keen eye and is often curious about things and people. She enjoys crafting things, sewing and cooking. Even though it can take her a bit to open up to others, she's a social creature and enjoys small, intimate gatherings of friends and family the most.
Sisanda isn't usually quick to anger but some things will upset her easily, such as abuses to animals and people. She also generally doesn't care for folks who are showing off or bragging about themselves or who just want to cause trouble and arguments. If she's at a Tavern and things get rowdy, she'll often retreat to a corner or some other location of safety but remain nearby in case someone gets hurt.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Sisanda traveled to Auridon after being involved in events surrounding her home of Khenarthi's Roost. She was happy to assist with those injured and stranded by the hurricane but was upset by the Maormer and just how far they'd go to free 'their' island of Dominion influence. She feels that even if the Sea Elves own the Island, they do not own the people in it, herself included and that individuals have the right to join the Dominion if they wish.
In her efforts following the hurricane, she began to feel that she could possibly help people even more if she went beyond the borders of the Island. The happenings there opened her eyes to wider possibilities and she felt that it could be beneficial to herself, as well as her family. So she boarded the Prowler, which she helped patch up with her own two hands and headed to Auridon. Her sister accompanied her as well.
Background
Sisanda grew up on Khenarthi's Roost, fostered by a family of Khajiit. Her 'father', Muzur and his daughter, Martiya were her family growing up. Muzur would tell the story of how he and his wife, Kiahni, were traveling up through the river basins of Southern Elseweyr, heading into the grasslands further north as they looked for more trading opportunities. The Khajiit in those areas tended to be more aggressive, causing Muzur and Kiahni to tread carefully. It was not uncommon to even have roaming bands of territorial raiders wreaking havoc and the broken and burned wagon they encountered was very probably the result of such a thing. The remainder of supplies were scattered about, while remnants of wood still smoked and smoldered on the edges. A couple of bodies lay nearby, the female being closest to the wagon and the male some distance off. It was clear there was fighting but not why or what started it. As Muzur and Kiahni went past, a small sound was heard. They investigated the wreckage and discovered Sisanda bundled up and protected in a basket. As she was picked up, she started crying and Kiahni took her from the basket, holding her close and soothing her. The way Muzur tells it, he couldn't have pried that infant from Kiahni even if he wanted to. It was a forgone conclusion that they would keep the infant and raise it as their own. Instead of finishing their trip north, they turned around and went home, having a new member of the family to care for. Kiahni had always wanted children and until they found Sisanda, they'd never managed to have any. Shortly after gaining her, however, Kiahni became pregnant with their natural daughter but died during childbirth. Sisanda and Martiya were raised together by Muzur, often seen running about the Island together and getting into mischief.
