Heh, I've been wanting to post to this forum and am finally able to take some time and do so. I wanted to give some info about myself and what I'm hoping to find here, in case anyone else is interested.
First of all, I am female in real life as well as in game. I'm married and have a son, with both husband and son playing ESO. Neither one of them RP and though I do occasionally get the opportunity to do some questing with my husband, his play time is far more limited than mine so most of the time, I'm left to my own devices. Being the social creature that I am, I'd like a lot more interaction than that! I'm a stay-at-home mom, so sometimes I have a great deal of time to play though my play time does predominantly tend be during the day. I live in the Eastern time zone and my typical awake hours run from 6:30am to around 10:30/11:30pm. I do find it more difficult to play without interruption at the end of my night because my son is typically heading to bed around 9:30pm and my husband is getting up to go to work at that. Part my job is to facilitate both things, though sometimes I really really think I should use duct tape where my child is concerned! (It can be a chore to get him to go to bed!) However, I do my best to be able to attend our Guild events which typically are taking place during those times. I also have four 'fur children', three of which are trying to get up on my computer desk and/or on my chest at any given time (and half the time, at the same time!). I make jewelry as a hobby currently but am working towards building it into an additional source of income for our family. I consider myself very creative and artistically inclined, as well as imaginative. I'm an avid reader as well, enjoying a wide variety of books including outside the field of science fiction and fantasy (though those are my favs!).
My preferred way of roleplaying is in a more intimate setting, typically with 1-3 others though larger groups, parties and contests can also be fun. My gaming style is a casual way, wandering here and there, doing this and that as I please and not because I want to level or reach 'end game'. I'm far more interested in the journey than I am the destination, though I do sometimes have goals or achievements I wish to accomplish and will work towards those. So in mixing my RP and gaming style, I like to develop relationships with my characters where I have someone to wander about with, quest with, even play house with, as desires arise. I tend to always have one very domestically inclined character and if/when housing is available, it becomes a very big deal to me and mine. (I LOVE to decorate, too.) I am interested in finding/developing a love interest relationship but I tend to move more slowly into those, because I have never been one to jump from relationship to relationship (or guild to guild), etc. ERP is an acceptable (and fun) part of a relationship but its not my focus for getting into one. My husband has no issues with anything I choose to do online, so he's not a consideration. Any ERP has to make sense for my character though as I'm not just looking for (if you can forgive the crudity) 'jack-off' material. There's plenty of that available on the internet outside the game. So I'm open to discussing what I'd like or what others would like out of roleplaying with me at any time, just send me a message or a whisper. I'm willing to even set up scenarios ahead of time, if there are specific goals or experiences that are wanted.
