Name: Ganan
Race: Bosmer
Laterality: Ambidextrous
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual / No Preference
Height: 5'3"
Weight: ~61.2KG/135lbs.
Age: 30

Physical Description & Flair -

Ganan possesses a large burn scar that rolls down the front of his face and chest, accompanying dull green eyes and several smaller laceration scars that cover his forearms and wrists. While his beard suggests that he has brown or black hair, Ganan's hair is never actually seen behind the turban that he refuses to take off, composed of a black, silky cloth. It is unknown whether he possesses long, flowing hair or is simply bald.

Ganan's usual attire consists of a black and white uniform adorned in green vials and blue studs. While he will not outrightly state what these vials are for, it can be safely assumed that they are for quick restoration.

Rumors -

Ganan is the epitome of self-righteousness. Anyone that hears his name is bound to hear the term "full of himself" accompanying it.

Ganan is incredibly hostile to anything he considers 'evil.'

It is rumored that Ganan once killed eighty-seven vampires in one battle, singlehandedly.

Why is Ganan in Dominion Territory? -

After fleeing Abah's Landing from a mixture of shock and fear brought on by the death of his entire family, Ganan moved to Velyn Harbor in an effort to dedicating his life to the eradication of "evil" from Nirn. It is in Velyn Harbor that Ganan has ultimately taken up residence, and where he intends to stay for a seemingly indefinite amount of time.

Personality -

Likes -
His Turban (He never takes it off. It is his turban.)
People (While he is horrible at it due to his mental deterioration, Ganan is obsessed with the idea of making people happy.)
"Good" (Another one of Ganan's obsessions involves anything pertaining to the concept of good morals. These 'good' morals include anything related to helping people.)
Green (Relia's eyes were green, which reminds Ganan of his early childhood from Abah's Landing.)
Tea (Ganan adores tea, but has no specific preference in flavor.)

Dislikes -
Alcohol (This hatred of alcohol was brought on by Pelrios's constant drinking habits. While Ganan has tried to consume alcohol in the past, he ultimately refuses to now.)
"Evil" morals (Relia's desires in the world revolved around the idea of a 'perfect' Nirn, free from the influence of Daedric worship, theft, murder, and other unlikable morals. Ganan has adopted this mindset in stride.)

Strengths -
Unarmed Combat
Boasting
Tracking
Magick

Weaknesses -
PTSD (Very infrequently, Ganan will recall his deceased family and go into a series of shock, depression, anger, and paranoia. He compensates by maintaining a stupidly cocky composure in public.)
Killing (Though he will boast about it in frequent, and is skilled enough to do so, Ganan has never actually killed anything aside from his father. If given the opportunity, Ganan would not kill anything, in respect to his mother.)
Brazen Audacity (Ganan has a highly obnoxious, self-righteous cover-up personality that is admired by practically nobody. While Ganan is very apt to compliment anyone who he thinks deserves it, he is incredibly bad at keeping his mouth shut, and will go to great lengths to express his 'superiority' over others.)

Background -

Ganan's Life-Summary

Ganan was born under the name of Ganareth Virnen in the city of Abah's Landing to an alcoholic father and an overly sentimental mother. While the child grew up in a wealthy environment, Ganan was always faced with the violence brought on by his father, Pelrios. Despite the constant assault of his mother, Relia, not a word was spoken of the cruel treatment outside of their household. Because of this, Ganareth spent the first sixteen years of his life under the constant witness of his father's assault.

As a child, Ganareth was quite intellectual and reserved, learning to read by the age of five and spending much of his time writing secret notes to his mother; in time, the two would begin hiding notes around the house in a pleasant exchange of words, while Relia constantly attempted to avoid the threat of her husband. Teaching Ganareth the basics of mathematics and controversial topics of Daedric worship proved much easier while Pelrios was out working at the stalls in Abah's Landing; Ganareth quickly took up a heavy fondness for his mother, proving the two inseparable as friends.

This would be cut short after years of companionship, however, while Ganareth was at the age of sixteen. After a drunken rampage through the home on a late night, Pelrios had run into the bedroom belonging to himself and Relia, and proceeded to stab Relia to death. Upon witnessing the screams, Ganareth had run into the room, only to find Pelrios covered in his mother's gore. Pelrios utilized the knife he had been holding to charge Ganareth and stab him in the gut; seeing only one viable option in terms of weaponry, Ganareth utilized a black silken blanket sitting on the floor and headbutted the Bosmer enough to daze him. While lingering in a state of consciousness disrupted by a concussion and rampant drunkenness, Ganareth tied the cloth around his throat and pushed him off the balcony of their home. While nearby neighbors screamed for the Guard, Ganareth took it upon himself to lie with his dying mother, who had already found herself incredibly dazed from the blood loss. Before passing, Relia offered Ganareth one last note that exclaimed her admiration for her son.

The next morning, Ganareth was found half-dead from blood loss, alongside his deceased mother; Ganareth and the corpses were taken under the care of healers at a local clinic, and it is here that Ganareth obtained the black silk blanket from his father's corpse. Wrapping it around his head in the style of a turban, Ganareth has decided to wear it as a permanent remembrance of his deceased mother, and the ultimate murder of his abusive father.

A week after Ganareth's healing, he was sent back to his home after being deemed capable enough of taking care of himself. To prevent possessing any affiliation of his father, Ganareth removed the "-reth" from his name due to his father, who had named him, and declared his new name as simply, "Ganan," as he began working in a produce stall around Abah's Landing. Several days after this, Ganan took it upon himself to complete his mother's wish of removing evil on Nirn by compiling a group of friends who had wished to eradicate the town of thieves through the use of nonviolent methods. Within days of planning, however, Ganan had discovered that all of his peers had found themselves under the employment of theft, and beat Ganan to the point of unconsciousness before stealing most of his prized belongings within his home. Leaving Ganan outside of the town's walls, he was quickly found by a Redguard who took pity on him and brought him back home within Abah's Landing to treat him. Teaching him how to use a blade, Ganan found his first opportunity to apply this knowledge weeks later, when the same thieves decided to attack him in his home at night. Instead of using a blade, however, Ganan took up his mother's wishes and translated his knowledge with blades into unarmed combat; repelling the four thieves from his home, Ganan further drew them away by pitching whole blocks of candle wax at their heads until they were either unconscious, or fled the scene. Two of the four thieves were arrested that night, convincing the remaining two thieves to remain far away from Ganan and his home.

Ganan further honed his knowledge of unarmed combat a year later, after bribing a male Suthay-Raht Khajiit into teaching him more about the arts of melee combat; Ganan had discovered the Khajiit's proficiency in this after a discussion between the Khajiit and a local Breton man. For this reason, Ganan is extremely agile and quick to dodge the majority of whatever is thrown at him.

Around the age of nineteen, after spending years selling produce from his stall, Ganan met a young Redguard woman by the name of Sarafia; as Ganan still took possession of a modest, reserved personality, the two hit it off and began to apply their mutual fondness of helping others through raising Drakes to offer Ganan's produce to the homeless, and fund local werewolf and vampire hunters.

Ganan soon found himself in the accompaniment of two children, after the birth of a male and female from his wife. Still taking up residence in his childhood home, Ganan and Sarafia decided to name their children Erio and Relia; Ganan had named their daughter Relia after his mother, which was up for little in the way of debate.

The two lived in the home for seven years, until Ganan had reached the age of twenty-six. During a late night, while Ganan slept, the two thieves that had managed to escape years before during their attempt at theft returned, only to murder their children in silence. As they reached the main bedroom, they were met by a swift kick in the head by Ganan, and ultimately incarcerated, but not before one of the thieves had applied magick to burn a large, searing mark into Ganan's front; this scar still remains plastered along his body, today.

Ganan had not realized that their children were murdered; a day later, Ganan and Sarafia had discovered the bodies as guards investigated the scene. Ganan quickly lost his mind, becoming a bashful, self-righteous shell of his former self to compensate for the heavy depression and impending thoughts of suicide. He has ultimately forgotten his children and wife entirely from the combination of stress and paranoia-induced shock, but Sarafia had reacted differently from the event; instead, the Redguard had opted to hang herself from their balcony using their bed sheets. Ganan took up the decision to dedicate his life into making the world free of evil, and left Abah's Landing by boat.

A month later, Ganan arrived in Velyn Harbor, and immediately used his remaining stall-coin to buy a hard, wooden club and a new, black outfit alongside a variety of potions to cure diseases and treat injury. After four years of small odd-jobs consisting of similar werewolf-hunting and thief-chasing, and taking up residence in a house near Velyn Harbor, Ganan utilized his skills in an attempt to take down a smuggling and trading network of illegal goods founded by Kashya Vulano, who had been using the alias of "Bellicose" under her operations. Building a personal relationship with the mer on the agreement to export illegally obtained goods between harbors, Kashya managed to sell a fair amount of goods to Ganan in exchange for a heaping sack of coin. Ganan later ambushed Kashya with a group of mercenaries after a raid she had pulled in Baandari, and reclaimed the sack of coin. While he had attempted to simultaneously imprison Kashya, Ganan was repelled by the accompanying thieves that had stuck beside Kashya, but managed to track her down upon hearing that she'd taken up residence in Vulkwasten. For this reason, Ganan is now lurking around the town of Vulkwasten in hopes that he may soon see Kashya locked away in a cell. To this day, Ganan has never actually murdered or killed anyone besides his father.
