He can be very shy. Usually though, he's a very talkative, energetic male. In the face of danger however, the man can be a coward. If he knows the situation is out of hand, and there's no way that he'll win, or knows friends are in danger, he'll try to pull them out of it and at the same time, also try to flee.
He don't like violence, but he's no stranger to it. He'd much rather peace if he can find it. Although will defend himself and those he cares about with every breath in him. He's the type, that'd refuse to go down without a fight. But normally, he'd also strive for peace over the violence.
He's also can be on the naive side. He's sweet, kind and very honest. These things can be used against him if one knows what they're doing. He had a semi-sheltered life in his youth. Though he's still a clever man. Usually able to figure most things out for himself. And piece things together.
He likes to have fun and he's very easy going and laid back. He's very polite, but not entirely soft spoken. But nor is he loud. Fine clothes are a big weak spot for him. He loves... no.. adores.. pretty things. And the color purple is his favorite. And loves to shop.
Synhir is also a green pact bosmer. While he won't fault someone for eating a berry or other fruit, he won't put up with direct damage to the forest / jungle. Like lighting plants on fire, that sort of thing. And he carries a great respect for nature.

Nevarth Timberwind: Synhir's father. He passed away during the vampire attack. His body was recovered near the Moors, and he was given a proper funeral. Before his passing, he had been a hunter and fisherman for the village.
Grayce Timberwind: Syn's twin sister. They were identical twins. She passed away however when he and Grayce were five. She was.. murdered. Perhaps putting it gently.
Iriath Adal: This is Synhir's mentor. She took Syn in when he was twelve, after he was orphaned. Took on raising him. She in time, became his adoptive mother. Her health as of late, is in steady decline.
His Past
5th of Sun's Dusk - The first child would be welcomed into the world to the Timberwind family. He was an only child for only a few moments. As shortly after his birth, his mother would bring another into the world. His twin sister. He and the girl would be identical, save for one thing. Their genders. He came into the world as silent as a star. Three months premature, he'd be lucky to be alive. While his sister came into the world, screaming her little lungs out. His parents would name him Synhir Eniuin, and he'd be given his father's last name of Timberwind. While his sister was named Grayce Lillian Timberwind.
Growing up was fairly easy for him. He and his sister always playing together when they were old enough. He and his sister would be raised in Longhaven, with the Moors just a stone throw away. His father was a fish merchant and a hunter, and worked hard to make sure Synhir and the child's mother were well taken care of. Syn learned a lot from his father. Hunting, fishing, fighting.. that sort of thing. This was pretty much his childhood. The only thing that was off limits for him was going into the Moors alone. His father worried for him, especially with the dangers that the swamp happened to hold. And his mother tried hard to highlight some of the dangers without frightening the lad.
He was five when his sister was murdered, by a member of their own family. A cousin. Their cousin had gotten into necromancy, and had in turn also broken the Green Pact. Their cousin believed that the Green was meant to serve, not to be obeyed. Their cousin broke it because of this, and would in the end, also kidnap Synhir and Grayce. Syn and Gray would be bound and gagged in a cave not far from the village, deep in the Moors. Grayce would be killed in front of Syn and raised as an undead.. a zombie. Their cousin practicing his... arts.. on her.
Syn would have been next. But Syn was lucky in that his parents found him in time. Syn's cousin would face severe punishments. That being execution and being committed to the Ooze. While Syn was taken to one of the Treethane's mages, Iriath Adal. An altmer woman. Iriath would watch over Syn, while a funeral was had for Syn's sister. Syn was a wreck after losing his sister. His parents thought it best he not be present when his sister was put on the pyre.
While his parents attended the funeral, Iriath would place a memory charm on the lad. Her way of trying to help him. She eased a lot of his suffering, she thought. While it was true, it had helped, it would also have one side effect.. This being that Syn would no longer remember even having a sister. Iriath would explain what had transpired to his parents. His parents were conflicted about it, but in the end, grateful. As it had also locked away Syn's night-terrors.
He was nine when his magical abilities began to unlock. One of the biggest for him was storm related talents. Lightning mainly. His father didn't know what to do, as he was just a hunter and a fisherman. And Syn's mother, she was a seamstress. Because of this, his parents sought help from the Treethane of their village. The Treethane would suggest that he be taught from one of the other mages in the village. Again, he'd be taken to Iriath Adal. Iriath would take the boy under her 'wing' so to speak and teach him.
He was twelve when things changed. He became an orphan. His parents would be killed in the Moors, having been overcome by a vampire. His father's body was found at the edge of the village. Battered, bruised.. And bite marks everywhere. His body was drained of blood. A passing hunting party would be the ones to find Syn's father. The body would be brought back to town so a proper funeral could be done for him. As for his mother, her body was never recovered, but everyone assumed the worst.
Syn was adopted by Iriath after that. His mentor liked to travel all over the world. Mostly because she sought knowledge. And of course, Syn was always happy to go with her. Their travels took them through a great portion of the Valenwood.
At the age of seventeen, he'd leave his mentor's side. He'd begin traveling on his own. Wanting to see more of the world. This lead him to seeing more of the Valenwood and eventually, traveling out to Khajiiti lands. For awhile, he even settled into the Khajiiti lands. He'd settle in Khenarthi's Roost, near Mistral.. Just along the outskirts of the city.
His time there would introduce him to many different things. Moonsugar-rum for instance. It became one of his favorite things to have when he went out to have a good time. He set up a small shop in the city, selling runes. It wasn't much, but it made enough to put food on the table and gave him enough to be able to have fun when he wanted to.
Coming to live here however, would have it's own effects. Of those, was getting involved with a khajiiti guy. His name was Jo'tesh. They met at the tavern. From the start, there was sparks. The two were never anything more than friends with benefits though. He wouldn't have minded being more, but it was Tesh's wish that they remain nothing more than that. So he never brought up his thoughts and opinions. More content to see Tesh happy.
He'd never bothered to court anyone the entire time he was in Mistral. His time was tied between working his stall in the marketplace, spending time with his lover and of course finding fun around the tavern at night when he could. Life was good. He'd be in this area from the time he was eighteen, until he was nearly twenty three.
In his time there, he would fall in love with Jo'tesh. His feelings after awhile, weren't hidden. He was very honest about how he felt. Though again, Tesh requested that it was open. It hurt, but for Tesh, Syn would agree. Though, just as before, he'd refuse to date anyone. As he felt it was wrong. Though Tesh did sleep around.
Though Tesh was also involved in many other things.. Of which was being heavily addicted to skooma. Tesh would begin bringing around... friends.. Bandits mostly. Syn frowned on it, and didn't care much for the men and women that would frequent his home when Tesh was around. But because it was Tesh bringing them, Syn's disapproval was kept to himself.
Cross-tree bandits... It was the beginning of a lot of nastiness. And the source of a lot of fighting between Tesh and Syn. Though Syn often would just.. let it go. He let it go, because he loved him. Although it didn't stop him from worrying. Especially when threatening letters started coming for Tesh. Tesh owed the bandits money and couldn't pay due to the heavy skooma addiction. Syn tried to help, but Tesh in the end would just spend the money on skooma rather than paying the debt.
He was twenty three when Jo'tesh would suddenly.. leave. No note, no explanations. Just.. gone. That's not to say that he didn't at least try and find him though. In fact, Syn tried very hard to find him. His search came to an end when it was hinted at that the man was dead. It was just hints.. For all he knew, he could have been alive.. But the hints were strong and it hurt... A great deal. While Tesh had wanted nothing more than to just be friends with benefits, Syn did care in his own way for him. And would deeply mourn him.
He stayed in Mistral for awhile longer.. He was twenty five when he left. Deciding that he wanted to go home. Back to the Valenwood. He'd close down his shop, sell his home and leave. He returned to Greenshade for awhile. Paid a visit to Iriath. Let her know that he was alright before leaving again. He'd start to travel the Valenwood. Deciding to enjoy his homeland.
This in time lead him to Malabal Tor. This brings us to current day. To this day, he travels wherever he wants for the most part. Though in recent times, he has stumbled upon the small town of Vulkwasten. While he don't stay at the tavern, persey.. He does have a small camp set up just a bit from the town. Along the out-skirts.
