Stella is average height, around 5’8 with short reddish/brown hair, her face is open and has lots of laughter and smile lines. She is muscled and fit, moving with the grace of a dancer, even when weighed down in armor. She can usually be seen in leathers or plate armor of the finest quality and highest price, always with the symbol of a flowering tree emblazoned on the front. There also is a faint scent of wet horse about her, as if she works or perhaps sleeps in a stable, if she gets wet from rain the smell gets worse and is almost overpowering.
Flairs:
Every patch of exposed skin is covered in strange runic tattoos, those skilled in magic can tell they are magical in origin but not what exactly they are for. The patterns shift and change randomly, almost as if they are alive, sliding across her skin like snakes. It is not overly apparent, usually thought a trick of the light, unless she takes off her mask or pieces of clothing. There is also a large ring on her right hand, it is her personal signet ring, the image is of a flowering tree with a rearing horse in the foreground.
Personality:
Stella is very outgoing and personable, she will assume you are a friend unless you act differently. She is the type of person you can’t help but talk to since she always is there to listen to your cares and worries. Almost always smiling, she wins the hearts and minds of those who meet her, making fast friends who would do anything to help the adorable little scamp. She loves to play pranks on others, pulling out chairs, dumping water on people, and other hilarious tricks. She is loyal and strong, standing by those she considers ‘hers’ and doesn’t back down from a fight if needed to protect their honor or lives. She also has odd quirks, like being afraid of stairs.
However, like most people, there is a darker side to this playful Mer. Inside she is a torn woman, a playful nature with jagged edges of hatred and malice. Those who know her are very wary of her in combat or angering her too greatly, she can be heartless and merciless to those who oppose her. Typically, this rarely happens, it takes much to break her patience and self-control.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?:
Stella is a loyal member of the Dominion, in fact she is the adopted daughter of a minor Altmer noble. She is almost always in Dominion lands, preferring the order and rules, to the chaos and rudeness of other areas. Rarely she has been to the Daggerfall and Pact lands, but she always returns back to the Dominion ruled areas.
Background:
Stella is the adopted daughter of Amres Avathar, he is married to her sister Galena who is presumed missing or dead. He is technically her brother-in-law but his last promise to his wife was to treat her youngest sister as if she was his daughter, to raise her, and train her so she would have a chance to survive on her own. In doing so he has crafted a very capable and deadly warrior, whose loyalty and love for him is paramount. She is the heir to the Avathar fortune and lands, as well as the titles Amres holds. As such, she is a minor noblewoman, though she rarely invokes or draws attention to that fact. She is a warrior and friend first, a noble second.
She claims to have attained the rank of Priestess of the Divines, after many years of study and work. But she does have her moments, usually in combat or under great stress, where she loses her head and goes a bit crazy. She has been known to gather trophies from her kills, organs, heads, scalps, tails, ect. As well as taking a little bit too much enjoyment from the suffering of those she deems evil, like murderers, rapists, and other scum. Many a hollow-eyed bandit or slaver has been drug behind her horse into her father’s Estate never to return, their will and mind broken from the horrors she has forced them to witness. Some question if she really is a priestess due to her ruthlessness and willingness for pain and suffering on those who have “done wrong” in her eyes.
The Avathar Estate is a place shrouded in mystery and in the shade of a giant grove of trees within its walls. The giant towering flowering tree stands over their home and it can be seen in the village below, always in bloom, the sight of the blossoms drifting in the wind is comforting to all who live nearby. The town outside and its surrounding lands are a merry place, they are well governed and treated fairly and with great compassion. They are happy to have the Avathar family, the two there are, around to oversee and tend to their needs. No matter the sounds and strange happenings at their Lord’s manor, they willingly stay under their protection and will protect them no matter what is said.
