The officers have been contacted with concerns and have our own concerns about open supernatural characters and factions, which is potentially lore-breaking (because the afflicted are seen as monsters to any right-minded citizen). We have talked to people OOCly about this before, but it appears there are still concerns that the behavior is continuing. It is because of this that we will be using groups to produce IC pressure and give a feel for IC consequence if characters are not careful with who they tell about their affliction and their openness.

To start this, we are using the FG and possibly the guards to apply IC pressure by having them be present in town, active, and openly looking for afflicted. This will keep general pressure happening on the entire sup population.

If this is still not working, we will issue an OOC warning to supernaturals and everyone in the Crimson Bark that an open door policy and lack of carefulness may lead to OOC repercussions. We will then wait to see if this helps this at all.

If not, we will issue one more warning that we'll be enacting a plan to start IC consequences. Said consequences are listed in our town laws, and can potentially make it difficult to RP your character in town. Once everyone knows this, we may resort to a plan that involves interesting RP plot, and will deliver IC consequence to people not carefully playing their supernaturals.(edited)

Please keep in mind that we don't want any of this to be seen as a punishment. We want to encourage you to RP the way you'd like, and the characters you'd like. We'd also just like to make sure that everything stays lore-friendly and thrilling, by placing the sort pressure on afflicted that would be present in the TES world that is sometimes void in BSR. We hope this will make RP more fun, and will challenge people to be creative within the IC pressure.

We will never kill your characters, and we will talk to people OOCly if it comes to IC consequence. Nothing will be done without consent. But we expect you to be fine with the IC consequences of your IC actions, as they are posted and you are being informed of what might happen in response to what you decide to do.
