Ulundil Larethal [Deceased]

Ulundil (Ulu) is a relatively small Altmer, usually caught wearing nicer attire. He has shoulder length hair and golden eyes which are quite noticeable with how much eye contact he makes. He doesn't really have any notable features outside of his general appearance. Some seem to find him attractive but he does not boast such claims.

Ulu is almost always cheerful. He tries to charm and talk his way through most things. He tends to be kind and helpful to everyone he can, even those who do not return the gesture. He simply laughs and jokes it off when he is ignored or rejected.

He isn't much of a fighter or problem solver, with no real skills to help him in the world other than his friendliness. He has worked as a salesman because of this, often talking people into buying large quantities of goods as if they need them. He doesn't do it with any malice, just how he gets paid. He is interested in all forms of business, though will shy away from things he deems 'unethical.'

He often wanders, just looking for things to do. He isn't a heavy drinker but hangs out in the tavern to meet new people and make friends.

After closing down his previous business for a variety of reasons, he has come to Vulkwasten in the search of new and exciting business opportunities. Vulkwasten may be small, but every business has to start somewhere, and needs a good business mer to help it grow.

He grew up in a merchant family, learning the tricks of the trade and how to encourage people and mer to trade and make sales He took to it naturally, loving to interact with people of all sorts. He was often criticized for being too friendly and interested in interacting with other people, but never took any advice that would push him otherwise.

As he got older, he gained more responsibility but found that his family's business did not suit him that well. He wanted more control of it and more travel. He started to roam, helping entrepreneurs make sales and get their businesses off of the ground while accruing money for him to start his own.

After a few years, he wound up hearing of a small trading group in Vulkwasten, that may branch further. This piqued his interest. He traveled there to see how he could help and possibly grow the company.

Ulu found his way to Vulkwasten where he met many of the locals and had a wonderful time drinking, laughing, raising hell and attempting to raise the spirits of those who seemed to need it. He was not always successful or welcome, but he absolutely tried regardless. He met Wraesha and joined up with magpies, with large hopes and dreams of using his prowess in business to help grow the organization. On his first operation with the group, they were stranded in a barn house during a storm. He found papers that suggested the owners were daedra worshippers of some sort, but he thought little of it and wound up burning those papers to keep others from getting fear in their hearts.

When they started to hear scratching and other discomforting sounds on the structure, he thought it was just trees or the wind. He walked out into the rain after seeing that Ali had done so as well, and that Ali was fine. He looked up toward the sky, taking in the rain... and had his feet ripped out from under him as he was dragged off to the mill. The daedra left lacerations all over his body, nothing that would kill him immediately, but he did eventually die a slow painful death under the mill due to blood loss.

The necromancer there took his soul, and stored it in a soul gem which was later taken by one of the caravan members. Thelin carried his tattered body back to Vulk through a portal. There, Wren and Thelin burned his body with firesalts south of the tavern and buried his bones nearby.
