Well, here's hoping I do this right

Physical Description
Ela is quite small, reaching only 5'3 in height and only weighing around 115 stones (lbs). Her hair seems to always fight against her, her bangs always falling to frame the sides of her face. The dark ruby color of her hair shining bright against her fairly pale skin. Her hair reaches to about mid back, and seems to be mostly strait with a bit of a wave to the end. Whenever she has a task at hand, she pulls it up into a neat bun, though her bangs remain in the way no matter what she does with them. Her eyes are a deep gold in color, most often appearing as liquid pools of the metal.
While Ela may appear as a dainty, delicate young lady, she is a bit stronger than she looks. If one were to pay attention, they could see the shadow of the muscles hidden beneath her delicate flesh as she moved.
Her attire seems to vary depending on the task at hand, though more often than not she wears simple leather armor, or pants and a sturdy pair of boots. Overall she prefers to dress in a more 'practical' manner.
As for weapons, she carries a bow at her back, but prefers to use a pair of daggers she has hidden on her person at all times. Still, her favorite weapon seems to be smacking someone with her book.
A personalized tattoo can be found on the outer side of her left breast, that resembles a pink butterfly.
Personality
Ela appears to be quite shy and seemed to prefer to hide in the corners more often than not, but it isn't always the case. When with friends, or when she is comfortable, she is quite charming and filled with a joyous energy and fun loving spirit. She can be quite quick to make a friend, especially if there is drink involved. Once the wine starts to flow, one can see that Ela has a drive for adventure, and seems to overall enjoy life. Living with no regrets, and planning to make the best of her time, she does what makes her happy.
Ela has a mind for knowledge, though she seems to lack the grasp to fully understand magic. Unable to practice the craft, she spent much time studying old artifacts, the dwemer catching her interest the most. Obsessed with the knowledge these ancient being had, she often finds herself delving into
dungeons and taking on any adventure that can hint at any new knowledge on all things mechanical.
Ela is also loyal, perhaps to a fault. She believes that ones word means everything. That to make a vow, or oath, is never done lightly, for one should never break it. As such once she gives her word, she will do whatever she must to keep it. She also never abandons those close to her – friend, family, or crew.
As for faults, Ela has quite a few. She gets jealous easily, and has a short temper with a tendency to get violent. Most noticeable however would be how self-conscious she is. She almost always feels herself unworthy of others, weather it be not good enough, not strong enough, pretty enough. She always finds faults with herself, and it seems to be something she constantly battles with.

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Ela was born in a small port town on the western coast of Valenwood, and while she travels about she never forgot her roots. Returning home after every adventure, though not necessarily always sticking to that small town she was born in.
Background
Being born in a part town left much to be desired for the Ellarian siblings: A young man and his little sister. Working along the ships and hearing the tails of adventures only made the fate of the two crystal clear. The elder brother left first, being of age much more quickly as he went off on an expedition into some strange runes. When he returned, the stories he told his sister peaked her interest, and thus started her drive to learn all things dwemer.
The joyous adventures were short lived as they traveled, as one of the ruins ended up being more trouble than expected. Elasha had failed to disarm a trap, and thus watched as her brother, and several other members of the team, were killed. Brought back and thrown in the hull for murder, she had all but given up hope to ever see the open skies again. Fate smiled on her however, for the ship that had been transporting her became the target of a passing pirate ship. With her quick tongue she sweet talked her way into the crew – and saved her skin.
