Character Name: Magnus Aesir

Race: Nord

Age: 27

Sex: Male

Marital Status: Single

Sexual Orientation: Straight

Affliction: None

Physical Description:
Magnus may appear to be an average Nord, but don't let his appearance fool you; though he may seem slim, he's absurdly strong, having been the tank for a group of adventurers he used to be a part of when he was younger. Though his mother was quite short for a Nord, at around 5'6", Magnus grew to reach his full size due to his father Bjorn's genes, eventually reaching around 6'8". As his full name applies, Magnus Aesir [translation: fighter(magnus) of the gods(aesir)] is an extremely well-built man, as he himself had determined from the get-go when he was a child. With his hobby of blacksmithing, Magnus' upper body is always in shape due to the constant hammering required to bend the metal, and his lower body the same, as he gets his leg workout from chasing down criminals during his daytime job of being a Town Guard and lifting loads of coal and metal whilst at the nearby smithery.

Flairs: Tending to go on adventures here and there, if Magnus isn't sporting armor that he made himself or a set that he got from some of his old adventuring mates, he's wearing his old merchant gear, simply because he finds it extremely comfortable. He tends to almost always have a small Dragontail goat that he rescued a few years back follow him around.

Personality:
Magnus is a kind-hearted and sociable man, loves a good laugh, and tends to get pretty talkative when he's gone through about half a keg of mead. Due to his past, Magnus tends to be very outgoing, adventurous, and is up for anything in his spare time if it involved either of his hobbies or gets his blood pumping. As a lawful man, Magnus is a Town Guard during the day and does his best to abide by the law, but still has had his times here and there of where he's played quite serious pranks on his fellow guardsmen at night; pranks serious enough that one would recieve a 250 gold coin bounty for doing so, but we won't go into any further details. As a Tavernkeeper during the night, Magnus is failry responsible, and among people that have done business with him before, is known to be extremely loyal and trustworthy. In his spare time, Magnus tends to either cook (when friends and/or guests are over) or smith (when he's alone). Though he's a Nord, he's a fairly smart individual, which has lead to several confrontations between those who "thought they knew everything."

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Magnus moved from Skyrim to Dragontail when he was around 17, simply because adventuring in the cold got too boring for him. Ever since, he's lived in Auridon for business reasons, hence why he still lives there despite his disliking of the fairly humid climate. Currently, he's taken time off for several long expeditions to Stonefalls to gather materials for smithing, as well as to gather ingredients from the other cultures in the area in order to continue experimenting with new possible recipes.

Background:
Born and raised in Eastmarch, Magnus Aesir was an only child, which at first, after his father Bjorn had suggested that they move to Stonefalls, it made it seem that Magnus would go on to live a life void of childhood fun, but after his mother Astrid profusely demanded that they stay in Eastmarch, near family and as far away from Cyrodiil as possible, it seemed like there might've been some hope for Magnus just yet. Not wanting to argue with his wife, Bjorn agreed, which came in handy for Magnus, because all of the family members almost next door to one another, so he was able to have fun with his cousins just about every day. After growing up and gaining a hankering from adventuring, as that was all he and his cousins did when they were young, Magnus began to explore as much of Skyrim as he could, but decided that this wasn't the place for him. "It's cold everywhere I go; Let's change things up, otherwise I'll bore myself to death." This led to Magnus moving to Dragontail, a city in the Dragontail Mountains (where else? ), just East of the Alik'r Desert and South of Wayrest. After what Magnus considered "too many jump-scares", or as others know as close calls with death, he decided to settle down in Auridon, as it was where one of his old adventuring friends was living. Right before he moved out, though, he happened to save a newborn Dragontail Ram kid (a baby goat, not a child), since he loves animals, and till this day, it still tends to follow him around everywhere he goes. Ever since Magnus settled down, he's been practicing his hobbies of blacksmithing and cooking. Whenever he's not doing one of the two whilst in town, he's patrolling whatever town he's assigned to during the day and serving pints full of mead at night at his tavern as the Tavernkeeper. Though the hoity-toity high elves that act like they run the place try to push him around, Magnus, as a Nord, tends to not like it at all, and if they catch him whilst he's had a few pints of mead, they'll get more than just an earfull of words, I can assure you. Though this may make him seem like a short-tempered drunkard, Magnus is far from that; he just happens to take his heritage very seriously and takes great pride in his culture, and thinks negatively of anyone who thinks otherwise, even though he'll keep it to himself to do his best to avoid conflict as much as he can.
