Character Name: Chays Corrilyr
Race: Altmer
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male
Marital Status: Single
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Affliction: None

Physical Description

This altmer is six-foot-three and sun-kissed, with the muscled build one would expect of a soldier. By human standards he would look about about twenty. He's often in a set of plate, and carries a large battle-axe. His shoulder-length hair is brown with notes of blond, and he lets his chin remain stubbly most of the time. His thick brows are untamed, and his hands bear the callouses indicative of a man who's used to hard work. He has bright green eyes and an easy smile.

Personality:

Chays is a simple, small-village mer with simple, small-village tastes. Extremely friendly and positive, he's always looking to help people out. Also he's a bit of a flirt.

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?

He was born on Auridon.

Background

Chays is the product of the starry summer night that a bosmer home singer visited Auridon and met a tipsy altmer baker. The couple married and moved to a small village inland, starting the bakery that Chays and his sister grew up in. His father divided his time between the village and Elden Root, gone half of the year, but for the most part it was a happy life.

After finishing school, he found that work was hard to come by. On top of that, all three girls he wasn't related to were taken. He left his small village and sought out a steady job. The military accepted him and he trained hard, hoping he would get to see the world.

He was shipped off on a supposedly easy mission - investigate these pests crying werewolf in Vulkwasten. The four other men who accompanied him were killed by the werewolves while he scouted ahead. When he doubled back, the uniforms and supplies were gone, and his friends were piled up in the wagon. Hearing growling in the woods, he took off without dealing with the corpses. The thought of that afternoon haunts him, but he tries his best to help people wherever he can.
