Physical Description
Diette (pronounced Dee-et) is a blonde forest huntress in well-worn leathers. Her most noticeable features are her vestigial antlers and multiple braids. She is never without her solitary weapon: an exceptionally well-made compound, recurved bow. All her clothes and equipment look hand-made. It is not uncommon for small forest creatures and insects to hitch a ride on her clothing and equipment (she doesn't mind).


Personality
Diette is self-confident, self-reliant, pragmatic and very friendly. She is most comfortable in a forest, and is known to prefer sleeping in a treetop, rather than indoors on a bed. She avoids deserts when possible ("No trees, too dry").

Diette is careful to avoid giving offense, and does her best to be polite. She is ridiculously well-spoken for a somewhat wild forest bosmer, suggesting certain oddities about her past. She is especially friendly to women, while being cautious toward males until she gets to know them. She tries to be non-judgmental, and expects others to be unbiased as well. Although not obviously religious, she clearly has some type of moral compass.


Background
Diette grew up in a nomadic Bosmer forest clan, but set out on her own before twenty (yes, there is a story there; ask her!). After various employments in Auridon, Grahtwood and Greenshade, she returned to her roots and became a solitary huntress, living off the Valenwood for nearly two decades. During this time she acquired an interesting hunting partner, and later, a travelling companion. Eventually, loneliness drove her to the cities of High Rock. After a few months, despite the charms of the Viridian Wood outside Evermore in Bangkorai, she returned to the Valenwood once more. She stumbled upon the town of Vulkwasten, finding interesting people and equally interesting problems. Currently, she can be found at the Tall Trunk tavern, trying to make friends.


OOC NOTE:
Diette resembles the classic "ranger" achetype from Tolkien and PnP fantasy RPGs. However, unlike some, she has no secret royal heritage, and does not expect to pursue any grand quest to the save the world any time in the forseeable future.
