A Deerhide Journal

The journal has a beautifully tanned deerhide cover and the contents are written entirely in Ta'agra.

It all happened so fast. Cimber was just going to watch the guard training and next thing he knows he is on the run. Its all Wren's fault. She told them what Cimber is and now he's been run out of town. She, the guards, and that moons be damned Terath have ruined Cimber's life. They have ruined this town and killed so many of Cimber's brothers.

Its Terath. It has to be. None of this would've started if he never brought his traitorous little *This part is illegible* to town. He's turned them all against Cimber. Even Thelin did nothing while Cimber was about to be murdered. And Cimber heard from Thelin that Terath is his friend. He wonders how many more friends Thelin will sacrifice to stay in Terath's good graces and how long Thelin will be able to accept Wren's little apologies for murdering his friends.

Cimber must do something about this. He will talk to liter.

3rd of Sun's Height,

It has been a couple days now since Cimber was run out of town and he has had time to think. He needs to get back at those who betrayed him some how so he has decided to write down his ideas for each person.

Wren:
-Kill her...Cimber isn't sure about this one. He would get his revenge but it wouldn't satisfy him.
-Kidnap and turn her. It would give her a taste of what she's put Cimber through.
-Burn her house down. A tad unoriginal.
-Kill her dogs...Maybe Cimber should stop thinking about Wren. Its not good for his mental health.

Terath:
-Exile from town in some fashion. Taking him down may take some time.

Thelin:

6th of Sun's Height,

Cimber is in much higher spirits then he has been the past couple days. Why journal? Because this one has his way to get back at the guard, the guild, and Wren. He met Xithic the other day at the shrine of our master and told him of the events that led to Cimber's exile. Liter has agreed that something must be done about the way werewolves are being treated in town and that the pack is being weak in the face of this adversity.

In response to this we have decided to form a new pack. A pack of exiles. The Forsaken Fang. Though it just Cimber and liter right now our numbers are sure to grow as more and more wolves are exiled from town. The guards are fools. They may be strong in Vulkwasten but out here in the woods? We have the advantage. We are stronger, faster, and can track our prey far better then they ever could. Cimber will talk to the pack in town about the Forsaken Fangs and try to get their support. He doesn't intend to poach wolves from under Ty. He just hopes that the pack in town will perform reconnaissance on the guard while the Forsaken Fangs try to take them down.

Cimber has already started slowly dulling their claws. Yesterday liter and this one stole silver from a merchant coming into town. This one knows that it isn't much of a dent in the silver supply of Vulkwasten but this one has to start small in order to avoid the guard wiping out the Forsaken Fangs before they can get a firm foothold out here in the woods.

In other less vengeful news this one and liter made a new drinking game! Cimber class it Var Zashka or 'Sugar Ball' in common. In order to play you set up nine mugs on two ends of a long table. Then you fill the mugs with Moonsugar Rum. You stand at one end of the table and your opponent stands on the other. Finally you throw a ball at your opponent's mugs and if you get it in one they drink...and if you miss you drink. Cimber got so drunk by the end of the game that he missed on every throw.

Also some prissy high elf came by while liter and this one were playing our game. Demanded a silver test on Xithic and said he could say a few words to the guard and guild to protect us. This one thinks he both dumb and delusional. Cimber doesn't know though if liter took the test since he passed out from drink at that point. He assumes he didn't though.

One thing Cimber misses about town is being able to buy ingredients for a hangover cure...

8th of Sun's Height,

Cimber visited with Thelin today....It did not go well at all.

We will meet at the cave tomorrow to 'talk'. Cimber does not want to fight Thelin but Thelin seems keen to attack this one. This one feels he is being forced into being something he truly does not want to be. Cimber would kill himself to end this madness but he can't abandon liter and he doubts Hircine will take this one to the hunting grounds if he went out that way.

Thelin said that Cimber brainwashed Xithic. This one doesn't know what to think of that. Did Thelin think Xithic would be okay with Wren's actions? Maybe Thelin is not as smar...Cimber knows what will happen tomorrow but Thelin was still at one time this one's friend. He doesn't want to think badly of him...though he may have to kill him in the end. He prays that is not the case. It will be the point of no return for something truly dark.

There is one option but Cimber doesn't want to have to do that to Thelin...

Cimber needs to talk to Ty. He needs to talk to the pack.
