Some time in the night, Keys sets a report down on the Fighter's Guild table, next to a journal on dwemer ruins. Her writing is clearly that of a child, and it looks like she used something flat to keep the lines as straight and even as she could. Multiple overlapping cup rings mar the top left corner. Smells like jasmine tea. A crude map to the northeast ruin ((Chancel of the Divine Entreaty)) is drawn at the top.
I don't know how to spell it, but this is about the A-lee-id ruins a bunch of us went to. I was asked to tell everyone about it, and writing is more conveenyent than saying it over and over. Please add your insites if you were there. This is very mportant if we're to survive the dwemer ruins later on.
Our group's ruin is deep in the jungle. It's underground, like a cave, with big pillars on either side on the outside and a doorwe Maza had to open with magic. I think it must have been a standing bilding when it was new. There were statues inside, and what looked like a temple with pews and an altar in the main chamber. The most dangerous parts seemed to be the halways. Like most of the Green, it was as prety as it was deadly.
There were glowing blue stones lighting the place up. Welkind and Varla Stones, if I remember that right. We were advized not to touch them.
We set off too many traps in there. They were everywhere. The first we ran into was a spike, trigered by a stone in the floor. We almost lost one of ours to it. I started only stepping on rocks other people had already steped on, but sending one ahead seems cruel and anything hevy enough to put on a potenchal trap would be too bulky to bring. Even being careful, we set another one off later. A fire trap, in a flooded hal. Two of our mer got burnt, but the water helped. We split up once, so the other part of our group might have found more. The third I found was in a chest. It was trigered by a wire, which snaped after I picked the lock. In hindsite, the lock was too easy to pick and that was suspishus. Snake bones fell down on me. I assume they had been poysonus in life.
The chest had a boot, a glowing blue stone I didn't touch, and a book that I took out of it. I'm not sure what the others did, but shortly after I took the book, there was a loud noise and we ran back out the way we came.
After we got out, one of ours said she touched a magic well. The Aleeid used these to store and use large kwantitees of magicka.
It seems unwise to touch anything that glows in general in these ruins.
When traps go off, the ruins get destroyed. We don't just lose loot. We lose history, and possibly people.
Teamwork is of utmost importance when exploring a ruin. We are seveerly lacking in this area. We will also have to be fast, smart, and careful, like a pikpokit. Even having been one of those in the past, I wouldn't have been able to get far without a team, regarles of wether it was in Anvil months ago or in the ruins more recently.
Smaller teams may help.
