--Basic Information--
ESO @name: @Briarmaiden
Character Name: Amaethaera (Amae, Ama, Amy, woodling, Starlight)
Race: Bosmer/Wood Elf
Age: Unclear, adult
Sex: Female
Marital Status: Single (as far as she knows)
Sexual Orientation: As of yet unspecified
Affliction: None
--Physical Description--
Amaethaera is a mildly short (for her people) bosmer woman, with relatively distinctive long, unfettered grey (silvery, according to some) hair and green eyes. Pale of skin, bereft of tattoos, and nearly always holding a stiff, rigid posture in most social scenarios, she is almost always seen with a braided leather circlet upon her brow. Favouring clothing colours of more neutral tones, such as greens, browns, and greys, she prefers mostly longer, more flowing attire. The face of the female tends to be quite expressive, particularly in the brow and eyes. As a side-effect of this, the poor girl probably could not lie to save her life, but maybe another's.
--Personality--
Likes:
- Others' happiness
- Helping (with anything)
- Contact with others
- Meat (including, and especially, Rotmeth)
Dislikes:
- Others' displeasure
- Her own feral/animalistic/savage side
- Smell of cooking plants
- Isolation
Strengths:
- Empathy
- Restoration magic
- Etiquette/Diplomacy
- Following orders
- Stealth
- Marksmanship
Weaknesses:
- Putting anyone after her (Empathy)
- Speaking falsely
- Not addressing someone's suffering
- Easily embarrassed and flustered
- Struggles to make decisions, particularly that affect others
- Slow with idioms, sarcasm, and many figures of speech
Amaethaera is friendly, helpful, and trusting nigh to a fault, and will generally do whatever she can to minimise the displeasure of everyone. In fact, if she must make a decision wherein she has to pick who is to be harmed, it causes her quite a bit of distress. Focused on poise and posture, if the woman is ever angry, she basically never shows it. But she is routinely if not habitually saddened any time everyone is not getting along.
--Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?--
Amaethaera is a member of the Aldmeri Dominion itself.
--Background--
Amaethaera seems to know nothing of her childhood. Prior to the Soulburst, all memories she might have seem to be lost. She does not know her home, nor of her family, only her name, and as bosmer do not take family names usually, there is not even that to connect her to somewhere. However, her behaviour hints at several things. She observes the Green Pact and thus is likely to be of Valenwood, and yet paradoxically seems to have a nigh altmeri focus on etiquette and propriety. In addition, her mode of speech is quite odd regardless. Thus, pinpointing her origin is . . . tricky.
Since the Soulburst, she has traveled much and was adventuring, her focus on healing and scouting. During that time, she acquired a close group of friends, which are a family of sorts from outside Vulkwasten. Though, during her travels, she happened upon the town and after some conversation with some of its denizens, grew to make a habit of returning to the place.
